Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. I will be forever grateful to Elie as I left my pants containing my wallet & passport when I checked out & he went out of his way to take them to the Caesar to deliver them to a friend who was going to the airport the following where I would collect them. For this price i don't think you can fund a much better place in Tiberias. The staff was very kind and helpfull, the hotell including the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I can highly recommend this hotel. I stayed at the hotel for about 12 days and if i am going to visit Tiberias again, i will return here.
all reviews » Very helpful and well informed staff (Eli in particular), excellent location, beautiful balcony view of the Sea of Galilee, free car parking. I recommend this hotel to just about everyone (couples, families, pilgrims, business travelers). Staff manager is wise, gives impartial advice n generous. Great location- ask yr bus driver to stop earlier b4 the Tiberius bus station. Breakfast is served early if u can't wait to drive yr rental car to explore the Galilee. Staff very friendly and welcoming questions answered and nice experience for a very reasonable price in tiberias.. Affordable for people on a budget travelling and touring israel. Nice location. Staff friendly. They offered us omelette for the morning breakfast but did not mention it prior. So you should ask for it. Nice selection for breakfast. I love this hotel. It is the best value hotel I know anywhere on the planet. Eli the manager is a true gentleman and it rubs of on his entire staff. Don't miss this. A very clean, welcoming hotel with good facilities, and excellent breakfast. The patron, Mr Eli, was a mine of useful information. The price was very reasonable. Supper - it was great. Breakfast also was. And the owner -Eliyahu Berger - is so helpful and friendly. Two times stay - both time enjoy. The hotel is situated about 1klm from the town centre: but many buses pass by, and once one knows which ones to catch, and which stop to ask for, using them is very east. One should bear in mind that the hotel does not aim for the 4 Seasons standards - and the rates are accordingly. Long uphill walk from town if you're walking. Dodgy toilet flush in one of our 3 rooms. the city center is a bit far on foot. No swimming pool. The hill!. Closer to the water front would have been preferred. Nothing comes to mind. furniture. nothing!. The shower was leaking. Tv small no good English channels The air con. Didn't really cool me down Ther was noise from passing traffic. old equipment unequipped kitchen. Although the lobby is very nice looking, the rooms are kind of dingy and a little run down. Also, you can't tell from the maps, but Tiberias is located on a big hill so it's quite a walk to get down to the beach or anywhere else significant from the hotel. It is rather older facility - nothing like modern hotel, but has it's value - we shall return. air condition only wiyh on/off no controll, not a clean room, general hotel building not new. The cleanliness of the rooms (dirty foors, dirty bathroom (mold)) Some of the staff There was a lot of noise in the middle of the night from the hall downstairs and the frontdesk. You could here the people loudly talking. elevator did not go to lower level where dining room is located. Hotel is starting to get old, so although everything is clean, it looks old and worn down.I regret that I have to say that all was not pretty clean. The matress and the aircon should be changed. Unluckily there was also a "dschuk" (German: Kakerlake) at night in the bathroom... The rooms towards the street are very noisy.. Room was old and not maintained. Not as pictures. Didn't change room on request. For the same price we found a better hotel with much better room. Atmosphere, no renovation for years! Long distance to center by feet. Not very clean. Very sparse and not so clean.
