We arrived late in the evening. We were met by the lady of the house who immediately offered us a cup of tea. Two of our group were catching an early morning sailing so we headed to bed early.We had a large, warm, and comfortable room. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Recommended !!!!. Everything was perfect. Ideally located for the Rosslare Ferry port ... it was just a 5 minute drive to catch the early morning ferry. Very hospitable, friendly owners and a lovely Irish breakfast. I shall certainly stay here again on future visits to Ireland.
all reviews » Wonderful Irish welcome with a pot of tea by the fire in the lounge, and a great send off with a full Irish breakfast. Just a few yards from a good pub for a nice evening meal. All the ingredients for an ideal overnight stop before getting on the ferry. Very clean, nice owners, good breakfast, room was nice. And what I really liked there are two nice pubs on the corner just a minute walking distance. Music sessions in both pubs that night, great craic, plus the food was very good. So convenient!. Cloverlawn is very handy to the ferry, clean, very comfortable bed and somewhere to eat very near. They thoughtfully provided some gluten free toast for me in the morning and the cooked breakfast was nice and tasty. The warm welcome on arrival-a fresh pot of tea and cake. The helpfulness and relaxed attitude of the owners and family. The breakfast was the best we had had during two weeks of touring.. Staff were very kind and friendly, very helpful. Also, accommodated my awkward diet very well. Would definitely stay there again. Lovely :). Very friendly welcome. Comfortable clean high standard 3 bed room. Great breakfast. And it still is.!!!. cleanliness, nicely decorated, friendly, convenient for ferry, close to pubs with good menu's. Friendly people, good welcome, comfortable room, lovely breakfast: in a word -everything!. * lovely warm fire and afternoon tea on arrival * friendly unintrusive welcoming people. It was very coinvenient and I have recommended it to friends. Is within minutes of Rosslare harbour/ferryport. Friendly owner and lovely house. every thing. Nothing.. Slight issue - I introduced myself and family but the lady of the house didnt introduce herself. Nothing to take away from a pleasant stay.. Nothing to dislike. Nothing- except we drove past Churchtown St and into town before we turned back and found it. The room was slightly on the cold side - but the weather was pretty stormy outside. There was nothing to dislike. No negatives. The single room didn't have an ensuite, you have to go out into the hall and your bathroom was next door. Nothing to note. none. bed in our room quite small, although our friends had a bigger bed in their room. Little bit disapointed with the Irish breakfast as we found it a little sparse compared to other irish breakfasts we had experienced during our trip. Nothing. * no complaints or dislikes. nothing. No clock/alarm in bedroom.
