We were impressed with the Osprey Hotel from the moment we arrived. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was well appointed, bright, cheerful, a good size & with lovely facilities, especially the bathroom. Room was clean and bed was very comfy. Food in the restaurants (we tried both the 'mash' and the Waldorf bar) was of a very high standard with generous portions. During our stay we used the pool & spa. Both were excellent. The spa staff being very professional, ye.

The quality of food was good but I honestly have to say what impressed me most about my stay were the staff who made a big impression on me so much so that I brought it into conversation with my friends! The staff were professional friendly and helpful wherever I went which in my opinion is what would makes the Osprey stand out from other h. everything,room 102 was fab.staff were so friendly.lovely bar man in the residents bar .dont know his name but he is getting married in may.breakfast was lovely by the window to see the water outside.very very relaxing stay.would love to book in again if i could afford it....... Everything was perfect, from the bedroom to the food in the bar, the staff, swimming pool and steam rooms, everything was just perfect and I can't wait to stay again. The hotel was beautiful and the bath was a lovely touch. I had a lovely relaxing stay. The staff were amazing and that went a long way.The food was gorgeous.Mash restaurant is fantastic.The breakfasts were totally awesome as all the foods which were supposed to be cold were and all the foods that were supposed to be hot were!!!. We stayed in a standard double room in room 318 and loved the room and design especially the bathroom the bath was amazing it really stood out from any other hotel I have stayed in. Met a group of friends at this hotel. From the minute we arrived until we departed, the staff, in particular the receptionist, were fantastic. They were extremely helpful and courteous at all times. We will definitely be returning. Lovely hotel..rooms were fantastic, spacious and nice design...loved the layout of the bathroom with the large bath in da centre and the seperate shower! Unfortunately didnt eat in the hotel but the menu did look good!. The staff at the osprey could not have done more for us, ranging from beauticians to the bar man, we felt totally at home. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the bar food is delicious. I will be returning. A delightful place to stay. Friendly helpful staff. Food was of the highest quality. Spacious room with modern décor. Would recommend this hotel to any visitors looking for a place to stay in the Naas area. The hotel and staff were very polite and professional, nothing was too much trouble. The night staff made our breakfast before we left on our last morning even though it was before breakfast was due to start. First and foremost the staff during my stay were fantastic to say the least. Neil and Anthony Managers were top class and deserve a mention. It was a pleasure to stay. Residents bar..were told the bar was closing at 1 when we arrived back at 12.50 so we didnt go for a drink in the bar and bein Irish we do like a late drink!!! But that was only a small blip on what overall is a top hotel!. Nothing major, delay in check in because they were busy but got a wine voucher which was a welcome gesture. There is nothing to tell. Absolutely no criticism of this beautiful hotel. My only bad point would be the air con in the room it was really warm out and the air con didn't seem to so much to help but it didn't bother me so much that it ruined my stay. A/C not working hot air coming out of both cold and hot . We were given a fan which helped or we could have changed room to other side of hotel but both receptions were on there. So in all we were very happy . Everything was perfect, just sorry I could not stay a second night. There was nothing to dislike. Decor downstairs could do with a lift (paintwork mostly). Workmanship not the greatest - Celtic Tiger type build. Bit noisy at night when night-club closed. I looked for a charger to charge my iphone and was so disappointed that they did not have one which meant I was left without a phone for the rest of the weekend. In this day and age they should have chargers available. The barman could improve at making Bailey's coffee, it was too strong and cold. Only down side was our baclony rails was covered in cobwebs...a duster run over it would haved helped... Bedroom slightly cool at night. Temperature in my room could be a couple of ticks up. We ate in the restaurant (not the bar) which was very cold compared to the cosiness of the rest of hotel. The fish cake starter was very spicy, couldn't finish it. Food over priced. Like a maze to get to room on 3rd floor, up and down stairs, likewise to get to bar etc. Breakfast area was small. Hotel is looking a bit tired and dated. unnecessary loud music from lounge disco thumping in my bedroom that kept me awake after 1am (Friday night/Saturday morning). Bedroom a bit overheated during the night but otherwise a great stay with lots of little luxuries. nothing. when I asked house keeper could I change room, told me to ask at desk. was only 2minwhen the staff at the desk rang her she change it to a d/bedroom. the housekeep told me to go down & ask. ??//. Bar staff, were slow and behind the bar was a mess, floor dirty. The carpet needed to be hovered there was crisps all over the place. extractor fans in showers don't work,nowhere to hang towels after a shower lighting should be over mirror in bedroom not underneath tv should be bigger,key failed in door several times. Purple colour on bedroom wall. The bed we stayed is so close to the wardrobe and that was the only draw back. Cosmetic deformities like the toilet dispenser hanging lose off the wall and socket slightly loose off wall.
