I found the Dromhall Hotel to be so relaxing and the staff could not have been more helpful. I really enjoyed the coffee breaks at no extra charge, a very nice touch. I would definitely stay at the Dromhall again and I would like to thank them for a very pleasant stay. Yours sincerely Doris Farrar. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and then throughout our stay we found them very friendly and helpful. Hotel was perfect really -clean and very comfortable. We found it excellent and would not hesitate in recommending it to friends etc.

Even the location i.e., proximity to the town was ideal. everything... from the receptionist (Laura I believe) to the look, layout, location, etc... it was a great stay and wished I could have stayed longer.Excellent service. It was only two hundred meters from the main street so you didn't have to worry about taxis. Could not get an outside line,or reception desk on two occasions. rooms as allocated to me should not be used as bedrooms, it is unacceptable to go away for a break and end up being upset by such poor standard of room. while i would recommend the hotel to others as a result of the room i was given i am only recommending the hotel because of how staff dealt with it when i eventually brought it to their attention on the second day of my stay which unfortunately w. There was no tea making facilities in the room and no mini bar. You would expect this for a 4 star hotel. The swimming pool had a broken drain in the pool which was quite dangerous. Changing room facilities were also very poor.The Breakfast was cold. We ordered it in bed. Very disappointing. Room overlooking Randals Garage. Busy road outside when we opened our window - noisy. A domestic dispute in the room nextdoor (shouting and bangingon door) kept us awake for a couple of hours. I realise this can happen in any hotel but it did lead to a restless night.Poor choice of breakfast and Slow Service on Saturday Morning. The Pillows. rooms could be a little bigger especially with cot for baby, rooms too ot at times. no tea making facilitis in the room, no buffet breakfast in the morning.rooms were basic. Due to the exchange rate between UK £ and Euro everything was very expensive. Hotel prices stood out even more than usual.only thing that was wrong was that the room was so cold no heating on i said to the girl that was on when we left but she said there was something up with it but it not on for a hotel. The swimming pool in the leisure centre was very poor. The keys in most of the lockers were missing and I was informed they'd be broken for a while. In the pool the plastic drain was broken and one of the children hurt his foot.We had to wait a while to be seated for breakfast, it seemed they weren't prepared for a breakfast crowd.

Kerry Regional airport has excellent services from Dublin and London Stansted daily and Killarney is easily reached otherwise by train or bus. From the train or bus station the Dromhall Hotel is only a short walk.
