Staff was friendly and location was good. Very relaxing place to stay. Great choice for breakfast, staff in breakfast room extremely friendly and helpfull. Food was lovely. Room temp was perfect, not too hot or cold. Bathroom was spotless. Walking distance to train station...less than 5 mins. friendly staff and close to town.The view from the room plus the room temperature was a bit too hot. The restuarant in the hotel closes on 2 nights during the week, so you cannot get dinner on these nights. We stayed from Wed to sat and the restaurant was closed on Thurs and Fri. For a hotel, this certainly does not accommodate guests and was very inconvenient!!. room facing the main road, noisy. This was the only hotel that we stayed in that didn't have secured parking. You will have to park down the street in the public lot for 3 euros a day. DO NOT leave your rental car on the street parked in front of the nearby pubs overnight. I woke to move the car and found people literally walked all over it during the night and left several dents on the hood and roof of my rental.

Her home cooking is well known among guests and locals, with her rice pudding and her chicken paté being particular favourites.
Norrie's cooking blends traditional Irish and international recipes, made with the freshest of local, seasonal produce. If you have any special dietary needs, or indeed any special dishes you would like to try, don't hesitate to ask.
In the dining room and restaurant you will find the blending of traditional Irish and international recipes using the best local ingredients. Norrie and her team have received an AA rosette each year for the last 8 years.
