The helpfulness and friendliness of the reception staff especially Francesco. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. As a family we had a great nights sleep, there was no noise. Staff very helpful when needed Bar Food was beautifully served and of top rate qyality. close to train and within walking distance of blackrock clinic and free parking. great family room, really handy for ucd and the breakfast was excellent!!!.

Yes, the heating in the room was on and we couldn't find a way of turning it off. Also, the lights were confusing to operate and we had trouble getting the light on in the bathroom. Our room was very old fashioned and smelt pretty musty. Bathroom was horrible.Shower was cold on Sunday morning and I queued for 25mns to check out - only 2 staff on the desk, one being trained in on the job. Very frustrating for a foyer full of guests awaiting check out. Breakfast was also cold and dried out. breakfast was not very good and check out was very slow. it was to cold around the hotel . Our room was far to cold. Decor was a bit dated and room was cold as radiator was not working, however we were moved to another room fairly promptly.When we arrived, the room was freezing. It took about an hour to warm the room. Also, we had problems with the hot water in the shower, it was cold. The distances from various landmarks are not correct.The check in I arrived late at night and it took 15 min to find my booking. It should have been straight forward. noise in front of hotel. The room was too hot and there was no way of regulating this, The noise from vents outside was appalling,.
