The staff were very helpful, the hotel was a bit old fashioned, but clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. The hotel was also in a very good location, excellent transport and the pool area was very good. Very nice and helpfull personel. The rooms were tidy and comfortable.Easy to find, every taxi and bus driver knows the Regency hotel. The bus driver announces before the stop if you ask him/her.

The 10 Euro charge for residents who parked their car overnight. water in showers in ladies changing room on Leisure Centre was scalding hot!!! awful.Why was the smoke alarm covered with plastic paper?. The breakfast staff. I waited in a queue for 50 minutes to be told there was nothing left! When I complained, with the many people behind me in the queue, we were told we should have come down earlier! I was there at 9.45 and breakfast didn't finish until 10.00. There was an exceptionally big number of guests due to a major sporting event near by.on arrival no toilet paper in room. a used bar of soap stuck to the shower. room was freezing until evening time. decor very shabby. had to pay for use of carpark. the heating was off the room was cold for the 2 nights we stayed despite reporting the matter several timeas. The hotel was very cold with no heating in the room ob the bar. Yes I requested a room in the new end of the hotel where I have stayed before and I telephoned the day before to check was this reqest granted and told yes when I checked in this did not happen the room was old and worn. Also we were unable to get breakfast we queued for 45 mins and gave up in the end. the room car parking.
