The Oak Room, the main restaurant of the hotel, overlooks the gardens and the beautiful Gap of Dunloe. This restaurant is open for breakfast and evening meals. Guests can choose from the à la carte menu and can sample the wines bought straight from the vineyard.

Important information to guests

The Dunloe is dog-friendly, and for a charge of EUR 10 per dog per night, The Dunloe offers a home for dogs either in one of the hotel's luxurious kennels or a dog-friendly guest room. Guests with dogs are greeted on arrival with a welcome pack including a pet toy, pet treat, clean-up bags. In dog-friendly rooms there is a food and water bowl with floor mat, special pet treats and pet beds and a sofa throw if the dog prefers to sleep on the sofa. By Car:
- Just 6 miles from Killarney Town Centre and only 20 minutes drive from Kerry Airport, the hotel lies just off the N72, at the Gap of Dunloe.
- From Killarney, take the N72 signposted for Killorglin.
- Passing Fossa National School (on your right), take the next left signposted for Gap of Dunloe, Glencar and Hotel Dunloe Castle.
- The hotel is just 1.5 miles along this road.
