We stayed for 7 nights and really enjoyed our stay at Casa Ganesha. After our first night, we had to change rooms because the ac was too loud, but the staff were accommodating and our second room met our expectations. We had a room on the second level, which had bathrooms with screened windows to outside. They provided basic toiletries, kettle, with coffee and tea, mini-fridge and safe. Phones do not have an outside line, but reception let me make local calls for no charge. We rented scooters f.
all reviews » I really enjoyed my stay in Casa Ganesha. I stayed there for four nights with my sister and we would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff is very friendly, breakfast was delicious and the service was great. It is a cheap hotel, but the rooms are good and the shower js really nice and hot. The staff really tried to help us with excursions and they also offer a free shuttle to the center. It was a thirty minute walk to the center of Ubud and about ten minutes to the Monkey Forest. If you us. I like the staff there, they are very friendly and provide an excellent customer services to the guests. When we reach there, they service me a cup of orange juices and provide a discount to us when we dinning at restaurant there. The environment also quite good there. I am enjoy travel there. The staff were very professional, and always available to assist. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was on the main road, and within walking distance to restaurants, yoga classes, the Monkey Forest and Ubud Markets. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe. Location is good, just outside the center, but easily walkable, and close to several nice restaurants and to the monkey forest. Rooms were clean, with a nice balcony for every room. Hotel staff are kind and helpful, could also arrange cheap scooter rental for us. The pool. The linen. The fridge in the room. The hot shower. If you are going to use the hotel only for nights, it is very good and cheap option. Location of Ubud is quite good and travel around Bali. Pool is too close to the road, so you can smell the traffic. The location was not perfect, but okay. Everything else was perfect. I would definitely come back!. There are a lot of mosquitoes there, which I dislike there. When other guests sit in their balcony at night chatting etc., you can hear this in your room. Not really Casa Ganesha's foult though.. only thing is the air-con.when came to 1pm-10pm the air con was not cold,the temp already 18 still no feel for cold air. Not in a walking distance to town, need motorbike or car. nothing. It's 15 to 20 min walking from center of ubud, but for us that was ok, because city center is too much crowdy, dinner depended from chef,. There were ants in the floor of the room, but they do not harm. No cocktails in bar. Dinner was average. Breakfast could be more. No wifi in rooms furthest from the front desk. I thought the breakfast could have been better. little smell in toilet. No concerns at all!. Breakfast very average Gardens need to be maintained better, as becoming very overgrown which will make the hotel look rundown soon. Room air conditioner was not well maintained so did not function well and its blower made noises that wake you up. Bed sheets need to be replaced with new one. Permanent mosquitoes control needed. Wifi was too slow to surf easily. Rooms were quite gloomy and the bed wasn't comfortable. terrible wifi connection (although to be fair its pretty bad in the whole of Ubud), no decent english-speaking tv channels. A little too far to walk back from Monkey Forest Road at night. - The noise on the roof at night (probably monkeys chasing each other); - The smell in the bathroom, due to poor sewage system; - Lack of attention to details: No soap was provided. Only shampoo and shower gel, after we asked several times. No toilet tissue. Left the door unlocked after the room was cleaned. - The pool is quite small compared to what is advertised and quite cold. 1. It has very poor signal for the WiFI networks 2.The day have heavy rain, water run into my room. The staff were unhelpful and didn't seem to know what was going on. We booked for 5 nights but needed to leave after 3,I was told that this would be fine and I would only have to pay for 3 nights but on my last day I was told I had to pay the bill in full. There was also a lot of noise from building going on. 離烏布熱鬧市集有段距離。. The toilet kept blocking and nearly overflowed!!. Very expensive transfer from the airport. shower was not working properly, all water were going out to a bathroom Swimming pool was dirty. Pool was very small, we haven't used it at all. Hotel was actually 30 min. walking distance from center of Ubud. Which was not a big problem, because there are lot's of shops, stores and restaurants on the way. Also Ubud center is not really center. The curtains were not enough for blocking the sun in the morning. There was a construction for restaurant in the hotel and they started the very noisy work at 8 am in the morning.
