great location, couldn't be situated any closer to the 3 dive sites in Tulamben with the Liberty wreck to the left, the coral garden directly infront and the drop off to the right. the place is even over looked by a volcano. The resort itself is very clean and tidy and the staff are excellent, from the cleaners to the dive guides and Sucie, the owner and a great hostess. this place is an all round great stay and an absolute value for money. I will definitely be staying again ..... Thank you ver.

She tried her best to accommodate my need, a solo traveller, wanting to dive and sightseeing to waterfall as well, with limited budget and time. And I made it!! For the price I paid in Bali (been to Bali more than 10 times with varied level of resorts/ losmens), this is very comfortable hotel and highly recommended!. This is a great resort and we had an amazing time here. This is budget accommodation so don't expect 5 star luxury, do expect a nice clean room, friendly staff, relaxing massages, beautiful sun rises, a restaurant overlooking the sea and out of this world diving! If you don't dive the snorkeling is great or if you just want to read there are plenty of Sun beds around to relax on. It is definitely value for money - while a budget property, it was clean, tidy and relaxing. The staff were fantastic, going out of their way to respond to any request, with a smile. Diving is professional and so easy to do from the front of this resort. If you don't dive, the snorkelling is almost as good. We will definitely return here. Convenience for certified divers, just grab a tank and go. The resort is right on the water and about 600m to the Liberty wreck. You can either walk it or take a boat. The spa is very good and the food is ok. I enjoyed the family-like atmosphere and the very nice diving. The staff (and Suci herself, Thank you, my dear!) are more than happy to fulfill your wishes! It's a little piece of paradise. Miss ya! The diving was fantastic, as were the dive staff, the hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite. Overall a really great dive and spa hotel. Excellent diving instructors. Good restaurant with a nice variety of dishes at very reasonable prices. The resort has its own diving store,and can go for diving just from their resort's beach.We met a very nice dive master and spent pleasant time there. Great place for diving, snorkeling and doing nothing. Had an introductory dive and felt safe, taken care of but also challenged. Direct to snorkelling. Good spot for snorkel. It's very convenient to be able to go diving directly from the resort, particularly for visiting the Liberty wreck and Drop Off. Staff were friendly and the room was reasonably priced. Of all the very hospitable staffs, there is one guy, at the cafe, who needs to learn a little respect to his guests. He talks a bit 'high tone', ok, a bit rude to me. I guess he's not Balinese.. or perhaps too tired, so I totally ignored him. Nothing, loved all of it. Readers should be aware that the only things in tulamben are resorts and a couple of shops which are far pricier than Matahari, so those looking for night life (which we weren't) might be disappointed. The only comment I would make is that when we return to Matahari, Talumben, (and we will), if our flight gets in late at night again we would probably spend a night close to the airport and transfer to the resort the next day. There is nothing I could complain about :-) (But next time I would love to have a little concert ;-) ). bathroom. Room was a little tired, restaurant shut at 9 pm. Nothing in rooms to explain restaurant opening times, dive, spa prices etc. A little too close to the noisy mainroad. No sitting area at our deluxe room. The plain way the food was served did not fit the rest of the resort. We have stayed there for two days. The first day stayed in standard room, which is small but cool with fan. The other day, we move to deluxe room,which is bigger but the aircon work not well and I was waked up because of hot, and was hardly bite by bedbugs. Stony beach. Boring town - it's only about diving (which is great if you dive or going to have diving lessons). No fridge and water cooker. The room was musty and it was necessary to continually spray insect killer to get rid of the numerous cockroaches, mosquitoes and flies. Unfortunately there is very little open space in the whole resort, barely a single blade of grass with everything really crammed together. Plenty of other better options in Tulamben.
