It is a quite haven in the middle of busy Legian, the photos of bedroom and swimming pool is just as it is in the reality. Breakfast is good, varieties of food, even they have omelet fresh cook by the chef. Swimming pool is as quiet as the hotel. This is like a piece of land quiet among the bars and dischoteque around it. I ♥ the bedroom with swimming pool view, you get balcony as well. And the bathroom in pool view bedroom is just as amazing as the view, it's see-through glass. So for honeymo.
all reviews » We stayed at the harper for 3 weeks could not fault anything excellent property the staff could not do enough for you . We had a room with pool view on third floor we asked could we have a room with balcony with pool view they gave us one no problem . We will be staying here again location was great out the back gate short cut to the restaurants and the beck we have stayed in many hotels in bali and this is one of the best this was our 39th time to bali the breakfast was very good . This really is a lovely, lovely hotel. Brand new - amazing rooms (we got upgraded too!), smack bang on Legian street right in Kuta. A few other people have been commenting on the breakfast being catered more to indonesian taste... ahhh, well YOU'RE IN INDONESIA!! Go ahead and try noodles or rice for breakfast! (there is cereal, toast, pastries, fruit and eggs for those who aren't so adventurous)... Such good value...book it! You won't be disappointed!. the hotel location is in the heart of legian. if you love night life, this hotel is a perfect place for you. it's a new hotel, however the staff were friendly and always ready to assist you. a little tip: if you find a hard time to find post office, there is a tiny post office next to the greek restaurant at the alley in the back of the hotel. ask the hotel staff to show you the hidden door to go to poppies lane. Many 24hr minimarts around and shopping centre nearby, Beachwalk, has many good food such as Dominos pizza (halal), Burger King, Fish &Co, Tony Roma and shopping such as Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Mango and many more. Clean and new hotel. A definite place to stay for all. The pool was also nice and calm around 11 am. The beach is not too far away. Loved the spa as well. I love everything! The facilities & especially the breakfast are superb!! The hotel is the most right choice for me coz its at the central of nightlife & shops which i like to go. Its near kuta beach as well! i would definitely come again!. For the first 3 nights i was given superior bedroom with the village view, an alley beside it where locals live. It is quite noisy at times, especially when clubs/bars are open and closing. Ask for the room with pool view, it is much quieter and nice view with balcony with the same price as it is superior room too. I asked to move and they granted it. Could not fault anything just perfect. Nothing..all is excellent !!!. Nothing....everything was an A+ for me!. The transfer service from the airport is expensive, the noise from the bars/night clubs gets really bad after 11 pm until 3 am so light sleepers might have problems, the room window was not looking good. The staff at checking and check out were slow and only 1 person working. On the last day of our staycation, the tv breaks down from morning till we check out. So we are unable to watch any programmes. - There was a foul smell on the corridor to our room (ground floor) during our second stay. Air con wasn't that cold, tv was fuzzy kept saying they'd fix but never did. So close to nightclubs that the noise was a bit much until 3am every night. Depending on the time, traffic jam to get to the hotel is unavoidable. Must remember to charge up electronic gadget when in the room or while asleep as all the power automatically turned off once you leave the room taking the door card with you. The reception are lost and little confused. Being a new hotel, they have not obtained enough pool towels as yet, which you would expect from a 4 star property. This can be easily fixed. The hotel is close to a lot of nightlife which means the base drums of several clubs try to bang you into sleep simultaneously - not a problem, if you are in the clubs, but if you like to fall asleep before the early morning. Our room was facing a concrete wall in about 1m distance - different from what I expected at this class of hotel. The toilet which is located outside the room. Many mosquito in the area. we were told that the swimming pool closes at 6pm but the following days we saw some guests swimming even at 8pm. there was no checklist when the porter came in to show us to our room during check in. ended up we argued over a can of soft drink at the reception which was never there when we checked out. staff could be more knowledgeable. We asked one of the staff to recommend a tour guide for us. Big rip-off. But this was just that one staff. The rest were very good and professional. A bit louder in the morning because of the music coming from the restaurant. we can hear anything happened outside even we closed the door. Hotel could have provided more universal adapters. Didnt have an adapter in room. Location - the hotel is very near with noisy Kuta clubs at night in the room can hear the music. And the hotel is still going construction works. Breakfast can improve more.not much varities.can improve on service.ask for extra towel for the second time bt yet no staff went in and pass. Some noise during the night, because the bars around. More variety for breakfast. Nothing. Nothing. None. Lack of knowledge and poor information of the front desk staff on their services and card terminals. Not welcoming at the reception.
