May be we didn't read the previous reviews very well but in case of people making the same mistake: this is a big, complete and beautifull wildlifepark, fully oriented on the education of people and the wellbeing of the animals... With also amazing facilities to stay. The rooms are in reality not big but so incredibly tastfull and cousy in design, decoration, used materials etc. Daily carrots were included?? Yep, only a few steps from your balcony: rino's, zebra's, elefants, Komodo-varan's(!!) .
all reviews » Amazing experiences with the animals. Swiming in the infinity pool looking out at the rhinos and zebras only 10m away. Breakfast with the Lions is amazing. The Night Safari (aka 'the meat truck') was brilliant one of the tigers jumped on top of the truck right above us.... brilliant. Great easy access to the Park. I enjoyed the friendly service and the comfort of the hotel (clean & all in working condition). It was a good and enjoyable experienced for me & my family. The reception staff gave me a room with a good view as I have requested. So I am happy with that. Thanks. A taste of Africa in Bali - waking up with rhinos and zebras outside your balcony is an experience indeed and rooms are extremely well done. I was sceptical beforehand that it could turn a bit tacky but the Safari Lodge was not at all. We beleive the night safari should be included in the accomodation price. It is $35 per person including for children. The accomodation is actually only really average but the price is quite high for it is. Every minute of our stay there was amazing the staff were so friendly we got up close and personal with so many different animals! Our young daughters had a holiday they will never forget!!. - a great educational place for my 2 young kids esp on the safari animals & natural surrounding & accommodation. - an unique place away from the beaches & paid fields. The staffs are very friendly. The reception just upgrade our booking to nicer view room. The room view was extraordinary. We can see rhinos, elephants, zebras. Comfortable rooms, lovely staff, the only toilet I've ever taken my camera to ( restaurant). I liked everything, EXCELLENT would highly recommend to other travellers. Being treated special, from the pick up at main gate. the rooms were really nice. the peace and quiet, the beautiful rooms and staff, the restaurant fabulous food and the staff were friendly and attentive. A great way to finish off our Bali holiday. Would definetley recommend this place and would go there on our next trip to Bali!! . Its in the middle of Bali Safari Park with forest and wildlife environment. If you make reservation for Swala or Twiga room you'll get view to elephants, zebras buffalos or rhinos (whichever come to plein). I dont think other rooms get this view. All the people in the hotel is very friendly and they gave us free medicine when my wife got sick. They have a beautifull swimmingpool. But this was not available because of work in construction. The alternative was free entree at the wild waterpark in the park itself. This was too crowded, not enough beds, too noisy and not what we expected. This was really a disappointment for us. Checkin and checkout process is ridiculous, slow, hot, frustrating and maddening!. Be careful what your room does not and does not include. I feel I was ripped off, as I enquired specifically over what exactly was included but was not told there would be separate charges for the safari tram (normally combined in the safari park entrance, which was included). Only one restaurant for dinner unless you book night safari so same food every night left you a bit limited. - the Spa hours was not consistent & closes early at 5pm on Fri!. The food served was not extraordinary. Nothing at all !!. A bit on the pricey side and you have to pay extra extra extra for everything on top of your tarrif. the elephant ride is a waste of money $65pp for a short walk around on the grass. no tours are included in your accommodation price. Just the squeaky bed and that was no drama. Would like to see a few more animals there but is is still relatively new so it can only grow. The hotel is within the safari park so it is reachable only by Safari Car provided from the hotel which u cab get from the front lobby. Because the hotel is in Gianyar and within the safari vicinity it is difficult to go out to the city and quite far from beaches.
