The bungalows are fantastic, it's so peaceful and quiet.
The bungalows are very clean and spacious.
The staff are all really friendly and help out as much as they can, the food is also absolutely delicious, you have to wait a while for it but then at least you know it's all done fresh.
It's quite far from anywhere, you can walk to balangan beach where there is a handful of beach bars but nothing else you can walk to you have to hire bikes or get taxis, but that's what makes this place so peacef. all reviews »
This was beautiful, traditional but basic accommodation in a quiet area. It is very rural but the beach is only 5 minutes away. There are a few bars and cafes on the beach. It was exactly what we were looking for.
The staff were all so friendly and helpful.
Our taxi driver didn't have any trouble finding it because he phoned the reception to get directions.
The bungalows are beautifully designed, comfy bed, nice shower head, amazing garden, lovely owner and staff, near Balangan beach just a 5 minute walking distance, breakfast menu is nice and very fulfilling. All around a very good value for money and the place has this unpretentious welcoming aura about it.. true essence of Bali..i just love it.
the bungalows were comfortabel and fairly clean, the restaurant attached to the bungalows offered ok food if you didn't feel like going out.
the best is that the bungalows are very close to the beach (5 minutes walk) and it is possible to hire a scooter which is very handy.
Nice bungalows in a garden. 5 - 10 Minutes walk to a nice beach for surfers ( Not easy for swimming though). The bungalows are in good shape and clean. Swimmingpool is currently built.

If you wanted a location 10 minutes walk from a surfer beach and wanted to pay reasonable prices then this could be for you.
the room is big and the bed was good.
The breakfast menu was a weird and wonderful creation. We never quite knew what we were going to get and it does take ages. When I asked for milk with my coffee they brought me a can of condensed milk. But that was all part of the Balinese experience!!.
it takes quite a tad bit long time to get the food we ordered but since the place is so serene and peaceful, we can walk in the garden or hang out at our porch while waiting for our order, and time flies so lightly. But hope they can improve their turn around time for the food to come out.

Toilet wasn't clean. WiFi connection did not work all the time. Bungalow was hard to find for the taxi driver and it is far away from city center.
No pool used other resorts pools which was fine as long as you bought lunch there(la joya).

Close to Balangan beach, but with no more options, need a motorcycle to go shopping, market, party. Don't think the price is too fair considering location, no air conditioned, no pool, no tv. Was good staying there, it only depends what are you looking for.
The set up is casual and not professional. The WIFI comes and goes depending on the amount paid by the place. Basics like milk run out. No meal is ever served in under 30 minutes. Cold chips were served. Unless you specifically request it, you will not get tea or coffee served without sugar. By Bali prices this place is cheap and so is the service that comes with it.
dirty, nobody clean our room in 4 days how we stay and we need to ask to have toilet paper, we eat one night in the restaurant and we had waiting one hour and half to have our club sandwich and it was not good at all, with old bread and not cleaning salad, for the breakfast was the same more than one hours of waiting to have it...there is a woman how work here very rude the other staff member was good but they don t understand very well the english.
