The hotel is very basic, new and clean with free strong wifi and flat
tv. It’s a pity they do not have a map of Jakarta at the reception.
There are rooms with and without windows. We stayed in the room without window and we did not regret because this hotel is situated in a noisy area, near to a bar. Not recommended for family with small children.
The bed was comfortable with a good mattress. However the bathroom has a strange smell. Next door there's a Chinese restaurant.

I really enjoyed staying at Wow and although I only slept there for one night, I am really glad I did. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room and the hotel, clean and pretty good looking. I liked the location also, the hotel is close to many street restaurants, which I think are the best places to eat in Jakarta.
The staff were very helpful, the room & hotel was really really clean, the WiFi had a great connection, the local places to eat just outside the front door have extremely friendly & helpful people too :).
It is great price-value deal! Staff was really helpfull and kind. Having
an option to do a late check-out at 6pm for 50% daily rate is great if
you have flight late in the evening.
The bed is very comfortable. Have cable TV. The staff very friendly. The location is good easy to get taxi and public transport. Nightlife is awesome.

Normal place to stay for one night after/before the flight for cheap price, if you want to take a look at the city. Location is more or less near the bus line, which you can reach the center and the Taman Fatahillah. But the district is dirty. All the plumbing was new and shiny, although the bathroom door was a little bedraggled. At the room you will find water in the bottles, tooth brush and paste, shampoo/shower gel, but no slippers. Keep this in mind if you want to leave your luggage at the .
The hotel room is clean with the amount of money we pay. Good location. Many local food store nearby the hotel at night and it is just 10 mins walk from the busway station (like a train station- just substitute the train with a long bus) which will take you to the city centre and Old Town of Jakarta.
Easy to find a cheap food around this hotel. Easy to find a retail store open daily 24/7. An electric jug will help you to make a hot water for a cup of coffee and make a self service foods like instant noodle directly in the morning because no breakfast service here.
I liked the room condition except the absence of window and its
supplies that seemed almost complete in this value. Location is not
very bad thinking of taking TransJakarta. Olimo is the nearest but need
to walk 10 mins.
The deluxe bed is so comfortable. Flat screen tv and good wifi access is
a plus. Bathroom is big and nice but only slippery due to the tile
quality. I rate it as value for money.

There was a really strong smell of a cleaning liquid all over the hotel
and all our clothes & stuff had the smell when we got back - had to
wash them all.

Parking facility, the road is narrow and basically no space at all, parking is nitemare.
Its noisy at night with the pub next door playing till late though you can stuck an ear-plug to drown out the noise.
If you happen to live on the lower floor noise is also a problem as staff and customers move about on the upper floor. Try to get an upper floor room if possible that will help with the noise problem.

No evidence of fire precautions (alarms/detectors/evacuation plan) in a multistory building with one central staircase and adjacent to a open fire cooking warung. At time of my visit only one extinguisher visible on 1st floor staircase.

When we entered the room there was a terrible and very strong smell. Air conditioning improve the situation. At the morning there was also strong smell of sewerage from the air-exhauster at the bathroom. We just turned it off and the smell disappeared. There is no windows in the room and a little bit noisy from outside, but we were so tired that we didn't care.
The hotel is right next to a night club. it could be quite noisy at night. It is right at the middle of red light district of Jakarta. feel a bit unsafe at night.
This hotel is to close from discothique, so you will hear "boom boom" sounds until 2 a.m every night. There is no elevator, and have a bad smells on the bathroom.

Hotel is very basic, even considering the budget price. Room had no windows. But worst of all, room was very noisy. Not only could we here the club next door, but even worse, the discussions and phone calls at the reception desk, loud noise from rooms next door and upper levels. Usually noise is not a real problem for us, but this was just too much.
