Coral voice was an amazing experience, the staff are incredible, the rooms are styled well with all the basics, aircon was great, breakfast was great, everything was perfect! The staff organised everything for us from bike rental, to snorkelling, and a snorkel trip to the other islands on the coral voice boat was fantastic! This is a budget friendly stay that meets all the standards. Get to know the family and you will have a great experience on Gili!.
all reviews » Staff of this place were best of the best. Very kind and humorous(Adam aka Bob Marley and Hankey the Captain of Soccer.) Very social bunch, eager to talk and give tips and directions. Also, the place was little bit away from most crowded areas and located among locals, which was good at least for me. A very good place for backpackers and laid back people. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They went beyond what would be expected. Rooms were comfortable. Bungalows are in a courtyard and there are chairs outside each bungalow which encourages everyone to chat. Would highly highly recommend this accommodation!. Absolutely Fantastic. The staff were so much fun, very helpful, and made our trip to Gili T. I would highly recommend Coral Voice to anyone. Definitely amazing value for money. The staff were great. Mawi who runs it looked after us and took us to the best places, getting complimentary breakfast was a bonus too. Worth staying for the local info. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful venue well equipped with wifi and aircon. Privacy was good. Breakfast was great. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again. Breakfast served on patio daily, down to earth young staff and owners, owners will arrange snorkel and diving trips. Good AC. I was in coral Voice 2 in a really nice and confortable bungalow. Great place to stay in the fantastic Gili Islands. The staff here were very friendly good value for your money.. Loved the banana pancakes in the morning!. the room is clean, the staff is great, the room is quite big. Clean and simple room, nice bathroom and shower with pebbled floor, good atmosphere. Nice balcony, quiet backstreet, no disco noise. Comfortable bed. Staff was kind with us (Once they understand what we want). Very cheap and location was fairly close to the centre about a 8 min walk. The hostel was a little laid back, but close enough to all of the party's. The bungalows look quite cute from the outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Shower could have been better. Cold water - same on most of the island and not an issue for us. Wifi was weak but we didn't think there would be any so it was fine. Nothing. No hot water, but I didn't expect that for Gili and it was something that was easy to get used to on the second shower. Cold shower, although most of Gili has cold showers. Room not cleaned at all and no change of towels. the air conditioner for one from two room I booked is not too cold. Coral Voice is split into 1 and 2; we stayed at Coral Voice 2 and it consists of only two rooms. No reception, but someone is always hanging around to make breakfast. Homestay right in front of a mosque.loudspeaker prayers even at night. Anyone spoke in english but the owner, who never was there. No tv, no mini bar an light in the bathroom was poor. The shower didn't work properly. The boys who seemed to manage the hostel were quite nice, but it was hard to rely on their announced help. I have seen that one of staff was making a breakfast and smoking at the same time. They need to think of cleanless seriously. Room was not clean. The location is not close to the main street. When you stay longer than one night, the room don't get cleaned, no fresh towels, the rain shower didn't work and the "normal" shower fell out of the wall. No electricity for most of my stay, no wifi. Way too overpriced. Not ideal location.
