What a relaxing holiday I had with the thanks to Baliku the staff took care of everything and it was just the break I needed. The surrounds are stunning. The infinity pool is not only spotlessly clean - the 360 views are second to none. In all honesty the food is great value and extremely well presented and tasty. I never had a bad meal I really enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea . Would have to be one of the most enjoyed holidays I have had for quite some time Thanks must go to the atte.
all reviews » The dive centre was excellent. The master diver was very professional and made us feel very safe. We had a fantastic time and saw a lot of marine life, including manta rays and turtles. The resort was also excellent, and located in one of the most laid-back parts of Bali, far from the rather frenetic atmosphere of Kuta. Location, friendly helpful staff, value, extensive views over Lombok Strait, clean and comfortable rooms with TV, tea making facilities, reliable good value restaurant, free wireless internet, relaxing and quiet, the afternoon teas, an extensive library. Hotel and the very professional dive shop share the same name. Fantastic staff, excellent views and the room was to die for. We have two older children 19 and 20 and were diving as a family. The staff at the dive shop were knowledgeable and could not do enough to help us find the best spots. Love Amed and loved our stay at Baliku. The view was amazing! The best we had in Bali by far, we had to walk up a few steps but it was so worth it. Awesome outside area with a comfy day bed. Super friendly staff, yummy cheap food. A great base if you're a diver. The unbelievable view over the Bay, fabulous snorkelling across the road.Elegant and functional rooms with large daybed on terrace and kingsize bed in room with lovely linen. Stayed in Baliku for 3 nights with my husband and 2-year old son in middle on october, 2013 and could easily have stayed a little longer. A beautiful resort with stunning views over the village, sea and mountains. The rooms are light and clean and furnished with good taste and outside there's a huge terrace with tables and a big sofa. There's also a tv in the rooms and you can borrow dvd movies and board games from the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent with a lot to chose from and if you stay . The view from our room was stunning. But be ready to execise (lot of stairs). Staff friendly as usual in Bali. Rooms are spacious and clean. The view from the hotel room is fabulous. Not much we didn't like, the beds aren't the most comfortable. We liked Baliku, but wouldn't have minded if there were a couple of other eateries nearby. However, Baliku food/drinks were good and reasonably priced. The swimming pool was not clean and when they decided to clean it they just put chlorine while guests were swimming. Stairs are a bit challenging for older knees! Could use a little upkeep but all in all quite good for the price!. Watch out for all the steps. at remote end of Amed, not much else around so limited options in terms of eating/dining. Rubbish in the surrounding villages. It was very noisy at night - dogs and 'boy racer' scooters. - Really poor shower in our Room (room 8) ps. friends of us stayed in a other room, there shower was fair. No ventilation in the bathroom. Situated right on a bend in the road - motorcycle noise. A bit of noise from the village below, but just added to the true balienese experience.The pool area is really nice also, BUT the water in the pool is quite dirty, and that is the only really negative thing to say about this resort. I hope they'll do something about the water in the near future. Wifi works best outside the room. . The hôtel is located after Amed so far from the city center. The beach down the hotel is not nice (stone). To find black sand beach you have to rent a scooter. The food is poor. It is too far from the main road.
