It is very important to note that Aman Homestay is excellent for girls travelling, we felt very safe and looked after. it is easy getting to the Taj or der Fort and you are away from trouble and worries and all bad press about Agra.

Aman Honestay is such a lovely place to stay tucked away on a quiet gated street but still close to monuments like the taj and Agra fort. The host family is lovely and so accommodating, they will help you in any way possible.
The rooms are large and comfortable. we had a large attached bathroom with a good hot shower.
In the evening we would relax in the dining area and socialise with the family and the other guests. This was a great place to meet other travellers and to share stories.

I had a wonderful staying in Ganges Inn, and I found the place very clean, with a very friendly and helpful staff, on a wonderful location if your plans are to stay very close to the main Gaths on the Ganges river.
I've visited as a solo female traveller and also I felt extremely safe. I definitely would recommend it for anyone who wants to experience Varanasi.

The guest house is extremely lovely. The family that own this place are very nice people. They are ready to help you with any problem. It's located in about 5 minutes of walk from the place where you can buy a ticket and catch a golf car to Taj Mahal. Food is also very testy there. I highly recommend this place to people who are looking for a guest house where can they stay for a couple of days.

Great location! Manager Sanjeev is a very helpful and knowledgeble man, and I learned a lot about Varanasi and India through him. His suggestions on resturants and shops were also good. -

I was pleased to be picked up by a family member from the airport ( Private taxi 700 rupees) as the guest house is very much in the centre of the maze of alleys in Varanasi which initially did seem daunting. After a walk around it quickly became less of a problem to find your bearings. Use the river as a point of reference.
