Excellent hotel inside, outside is not good but then nowhere outside in Delhi is very good. Don't be put off by the outside appearence of the hotel--when you go inside it's a transformation. Good price too and very good hotel restaurants--one focused on great Indian food, the other served good Indian, Chinese and Western food and breakfast was good too. All the hotel food was 'safe'. All the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Good bar with very very friendly staff. The music in.
all reviews » Business room was a good size (HUGE bed!) and with fridge & safe in the room. Breakfast was a good mix of Western & local dishes. Freshly made omelettes were delicious. Staff friendly, efficient & helpful. Security on the door was a positive. Location was good too - close to Connaught Place & good for getting our bearings in New Delhi. It's also not too far from Old Delhi. It's also close to a key metro station. The staffs were awsome. Their service were so friendly and very kind. The breakfast buffet was really delicous and the chef and staffs keep checking about tastes of foods. They made me mouth watering dosa and omlet every morning! The reception guy and driver also kind. Moreover, the spa was super awsome. Thank you Radisson Blu Marina Hotel!. Hotel is in a good location right on Connaught Place. While the rooms aren't large they are comfortable and the breakfast is fine. They offer a pick up from the airport for a fee - the drivers were the best we had in India and it saved a lot of hassle. Helpful staff. Location was really good. One can visit all the markets and tourist places from here by public transport easily. The room was small but clean with a comfortable bed. Tea/coffee facility in the room and very early tea offer at reception for day travellers. The staff is polite and very helpful. For me as a woman, it would be nice if there were more women around. Didn't like the excessive hotel travel charges---e.g. 2000rupees for a hotel car to go less than 10km; but 200rupees for a street taxi and 60rupees for a tuk-tuk for the same distance. The hotel car charges are a rip-off, DON’T use the hotel car. Bar prices were Western prices but they have some good deals which make it ok. The reception staff found it difficult to smile but were efficient. Trying to find it initially! Not every taxi/tuctuc driver knows it - and map provided by website is no use at all - it is hard to spot that it's a hotel from the road. There are electronic black out sometimes. The kettle in the room was little bit old and dirty, but the staff changed it immeditly. The hotel is in the center of the city, so noisy a little. The rooms are a little small otherwise its fine for one or two nights stay if you are transiting through. The bathroom was not at all a standard one. After bath you will find waters out side the bath area. Though the hotel is in a good location of Connaught place, a tourist will find it difficult to locate it. Hotel management should work on the branding. Breakfast was ok not special. the unwillingness to negotiate after having spent 8 nights and booking two rooms . wanted to extend the stay with the same rate but the duty mananger was not willing to co-operate and was also very abrupt and rude. therefore moved to another hotel nearby for another 5 nights. Charge for pickup from airport is too high. The breakfast spread wasn't much for such a good hotel and taste-wise, I'll rate it as just normal. The room rates were a tad higher than other similar hotels but perhaps due to the location of Radisson?. there was a problem with water outlet in the bathroom, one master lock key to door for balcony , need to call everytime, we would like to visit balcony. Room size. Check-in takes time. Bad Smile in my room. When we went onto the balcony it wasn't to clean and needed a bit of updating. Travel Desk, Lobby Design,. Enterance gate . Breakfast poor and WiFi slow. entrance breakfast. unavailability of rooms for a extended stay. walls were too thin, you wake up with every wake-up call in that floor. The reception tried to charge for mini-bar juices that we did not consume at check-out, and ended up signing the statement on the invoice that "We did not spend anything on the minibar" . It is a very noisy place to stay. You won't be able to use the balcony depicted above. No pool. cafe temperature Too Cold. View from room is horrible. Out dated hotel. Dirty . I saw live crackoche on the bed side table !!!!. A LOT of noise Not a safe location Not very clean.
