It was a safe haven, once inside the hotel. convenient. That it surpassed our expectations. We had read some of the feedback from other people and I think the hotel has adjusted their customer service accordingly. We would stay there again. The convenience of the restaurant which had pretty good food. The readiness of the staff to help you find your way around Delhi. It was really clean, staff was great, different services (car booking, cash, internet, ...) and a very good restaurant.Airport pick-up, staff was very helpful. Overall, very good. the hotel staff is so helpful and informative about the going on's in the area and the activities that we could join in.Cleanliness and comfort of room. Electric jug and fridge in room. Efficient air-conditioning. Restaurant of good standard in hotel and therefore did not have to go into the street outside for a meal. Higher standard overall than expected from 2 star rating. Clean elegant room, good location, good economical restaurant. The service for travling. One of the rooms (actually one shown on the web site) had a bad odour. They immediately gave us the option of another room...No window in this particular room, but at least you're not disturbed by the street's noise (only vacuum-cleaning next door). The location..is in a very very busy part of Delhi. Not possible for a solo woman traveller to walk this section of city.lack of alcool. The plumbing system was noisy.I spent 2 days there and I have nothing wrong to tell. Maybe the internet price is more expensive than in the hotel ... Room I had had no windows and smelt a bit musty.noise at night. Crowded small street where hotel was located but originally chose hotel because of it was close to New Delhi Railway Station which we didn't use after all.My wife had injured her leg and was in considerable pain, and had to be half carried into the hotel but the staff were not helpful or forthcoming in helping me find medical assistance. Away from our home town, in an unfamiliar city, I was at a loss. Had to take the help of the taxi driver I had engaged, who took me to a diagnostic centre. My wife was diagnosed with double fracture in her foot. They havent picked us in airport. Aircon went off intermittently; no instructions on how to use aircon; no guest pack; no soap or other toiletries in bathroom. Cleanness. Vicinity. My room was never cleaned even when the 'Clean my Room' door card wasleft hanging for an entire day. No clean towels and the wirelessinternet did not reach my room as stated. The electricity wasinconsistent making it impossible to watch tv. I was told that the Hoteltook American Express, however, this was not the case. Checking outtherefore became very difficult. The hotel staff were terrible. There is a tourism office run from the reception and we were made to feel very intimidated about booking with them. They even spied on us demanding to know who else we had booked with. We left after the first night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially two female travellers such as ourselves.
