What people say
Excellent accommodation, great position, nice old-modern design. The
food was also very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Guesthouse was very clean and room really comfortable (with wardrobe,
small tables near beds, mirror).Wi-fi was excellent.
The delicate lady who runs the guesthouse was unique. So is the place.
The room we had was on the second floor. Country special style, arranged with thought and love. A cosy place to sit out side the room.
I would definitely recomed!. all reviews »
- The owner spoke good English
- the breakfast was awesome
- the owner was so kind as to book us a room in a nearby hotel for the same price when she found out that she had to leave for Reykjavík unexpectedly.
The location was great. Check in was fast. Breakfast was wonderful. The ambiance and history of the building was charming.
Great location. Very clean. Lovely staff. Had the place to our selves so were able to cook. Value for money.
A very nice place, one of the best in the world? Good kitchen, good beds, nice location.
Isafjordur is a beautiful small town by the harbour with the mountains around.
Breakfast, upstairs sitting room, linen, privacy, reception staff, showers.
The town is charming, small but with attitude.
One of the best stays i had so far!.
Location.
- Minor detail: I was unaware of the fact that beds were to be made and
towels renewed during the stay. If I were, I would've kept the
room more tidy.
Not their fault but construction outside made if hard to take an afternoon nap after our 6+ hour drive from Reykjavik.
Nothing.
It was colder in May!!.
Isafjordur was disappointing after other stops in the western fjords.
Price a little high.
No private showers or toilets.
