  What was there not to like ? We were greeted, cared and catered for in a first class manner, by the professional and friendly staff at the Hotel. The food, which we had read so much about was superb - I have never eaten such delicious duck, ever. Breakfast was delicious and we were offered cooked eggs and bacon, as well as a buffet. I would think in the summer months it w - we visited the place in the winter season and we were the only guests. In summer the city is packed with young party goers. few rooms upstairs, downstairs is a good restaurant and bar with Buddhist charming decoration. bed comfortable, shower is good, room has lake view and large balcony. breakfast was as per our orders and included in the price. free parking. good WIFI.

  I loved the friendliness and the warm velcome , like coming home to my friends. Such a lovely couple who's running the place . So helpful and make you feel very special. Very clean, beautiful room with a large bathroom include a jacuzzi. Lovely view . Love to go back again this year. - Gabor and Susann are very friend and carefull people.

  The Villa Plattensee is a amazing hotel. The owner and his team are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are great and well laid out. It is a place to relax and unwind. The breakfast buffet was good and I enjoyed reading a book on the pool afterwards. The hotel is close to the lake and with a rented bike I had great excursions.   The location was perfect: a short walk from the bus station (even shorter if you go through the shopping arcade) and a very short walk from all the tourist attractions and restaurants.
