  Beautiful location in suburban hilltop part of Eger with wonderful view of the city below from balcony. Overall, good value for themoney. Comfortable and pleasant room but super-tiny bathroom. Breakfast (typical buffet for Hungarian hotels) was in the Panorama Hotel run by the owners, just down the street. (Not a problem on the sunny day we were t... what people say » here but could be in rainy weather.) - The location was surprisingly close to the city centre despite being on the hill above the castle; even walking up the hill at night was fine. The view was good - though only from the upper floors; the garden was lovely. NIce breakfasts.

  food was really excellent. spa baths were great. a good place when visiting outlying areas and after such excursions, a good place to return to. - the rooms were very good so are the hotel facilities. The staff were very helpful and cooperative.

  The hotel is in a fabulous setting and the building is unique. Our bedroom was very comfortable and there are good, clean leisure facilities. We are definitely planning to return to this hotel. - The view from our balcony was very beautiful. It overlooked the lake and the waterfall.

  Located on the hilltop in a nice quiet residential area just behind the town centre. Our room was right at the top and had a lovely view of the nearby mountains. The host/owner of the hotel was extremely friendly, helpful and one of the most pleasant we've met in a Hungarian hotel. Panorama Hotel is home -like, very friendly and comfortable pensione type accomodation. My room was huge, with a balcony. I couldnt quite see the town from it. breakfasts were plentiful and good quality. Hosts were wonderful. Very good value for money.
