It was amazingly clean, esp for being a "hostel." It was an apartment broken up into rooms, but it was very safe. There were tons of keys and locks and I felt like the location was safe anyways. Really enjoyed our stay. - The rooms were clean and big, and since the hostel had just opened, everything was new and the interior was nice and fresh! the location is good, it is really close to the astoria metro station. the staff was friendly and helpful and when we wanted to stay one more night, it was no problem! you can also use their kitchen, washing maschine and so on. it was a really pleasant stay and I would definetely go there again! :)

Very good location, you are in the city centre and you can gain all the possibilities, which the city has to offer to you. Hostel is just at the exit of metro station. By the hostel is a bus and a tram stop. You can walk all the attractons of Pest and even Buda on your feet. Small price -

Definitely the best hostel I've ever stayed in on my several world
trips. I only managed to stay 3 separate times during December 2012 to
January 2013, but then again, I was flitting around Europe. Njoy was
and will be not only my Budapest Base Camp. But my home-away-from-home
in Budapest. 10 out of 10 for all facilities, 10++++ for the staff.
Friendly, helpful, informative, all Fluent in English, all excellent in
the Hospitality business. What more can I say? See Budapest at its
best. Njoy!!!

Very good value for money - our own room for 5 people for 3 nights was 20 euros each.
The location was great, easy to walk everywhere and there was a cute little cafe on the corner which was open until 4am - so that was great for a late night chill! It did kareoke too and the locals singing were pretty amusing.

Location is simply perfect, everything's in walking distance in the
downtown. Further sites of Budapest can be cought by really cheap (~15€)
hop-on hop-off offer by the reception. Staff is really professinal and
kind, specially the guys (thanks for the bar recommendations).
Everything was clean and fresh. Definetelly recommended to other
backpackers.

I requested night transfer from airport to hostel. My plane was 1.5h late, so I even didn't hope that they waited for me in airport. But they waited! And the price for transfer was not changed.

CityRooms is great place to stay in Budapest. In the middle of city centar and enought quiet! Rooms, kitchen and batrooms were very clean! All people in hostel were very quiet so you can rest enought for next day. Great location near the main sites and close to some great restaurants and bars. The apartments and facilities were very comfortable and suited our needs. The staff were all very kind, and even hung up our wet washing for us!
