The breakfast in the morning is another highlight. - We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

  everything was super! we are very happy of our choise! the apartment was really in the city-centr. everything was close, just in two steps. personat is very friendly, room is big, comfortble and warm, it has nice view on donau from balcony. - Extremely close to centre and all places of interest.   We upgraded to an executive room and it was lovely. Absolutely the best hotel bed I have ever slept in. We had a magnificent view over the Danube and the breakfast and evening facilities in the executive lounge were second to none. We had a lovely meal in Peppers restaurant and they had a very talented singer and piano player to entertain us. It was our first - This hotel provides good service at decent prices. We booked two executive rooms, which while relatively compact, provided all we needed. We arrived early, before our rooms were ready, but with our (discounted) exec rooms we spent some time on the excellent executive terrace & lounge, with free drinks and a great view of the river. This ia more of a big business hotel of course, but for us it was a usefull one-night stop on our Road Trip. Breakfast (also in the exec lounge) was quite good.

  The hotel is fabulous. So comfortable, clean and has a really luxurious feel. The staff are so friendly, especially in the bar and restaurant. In fact I would say that the friendliness of the staff was one of the main highlights of our stay at the Meridien. Try their cakes in the bar!! - The restaurant, the staff, the location.. ultimately everything about the hotel surpassed my expectations, especially considering value for money. The hotel is absolutely perfect and the staff are eager to help wherever they can, also they are quite happy to talk to you and answer any questions you may have about Budapest. I would definately revisit this hotel in the future.
