The price was very good and the conditions excellent for the money Very clean and pleasant Very close to city center about 30 minutes walking but also had many things to do near it Cantine and a store in the lobby with sandwiches and salads. I booked a single room and it was cheep. Good value for money. I had from my window a beautiful view to the city because the hostel is on the hill.
all reviews » It was easy to access from the main roads and had secure parking. Check in was simple and there was free internet to use. Bedrooms were convenient but not luxurious. Location seemed good although we did not go out as we only stayed overnight. We arrived at 2 a.m. and the reception was still workong, very helpful staff and secure parking in front for 10 €. + toilets on the ground floor + easy access to the city centre + friendly receptionists + price. Check out is at 11 Cantine and lobby store not opened on sundays. far from the city center (on a hill) but there are at the area sightseengs, for example cittadella, gellert baths, ). Rooms were not of the cleanest and it was not really a hostel, more a dorm room in a university. Also very noisy doors as we were woken several times in the night by our neighbours coming in and going to the toilet. The bed was with clean sheets but the room was dirty (walls, floor, doors). Looks like an old dormitory that has never been renovated. + small rooms equipped with old socialistic furniture. Parking for 10 euro is not guarded - they don't take responsibility for car, not so clean building, looks like dormitory. The whole building is very socialist alike, rooms are plain and "old-fashioned", though clean. There was a kind of device by the window (for aeration?) that made a lot of noise especially on nights which couldn't be switched off. It is not very safe to leave your key at reception. You dont get a token and anyone could ask for the key to your room... It is a university camin. It has the very basic things to be called a room. Equipment is quite old and used. Dorm-like quality, no towels; web site needs to tell customers to bring your own. everything. ceiling was hanging off and walls were cracked. The staff was horrible, no security. The photos at booking are cool, but when you get in the conditions are completely different, it's dirty and old, the W.C sucks like in the middle age, the sheets are old and dirty. No internet, only in the first floor. I found vermin in the windows flying around the room, and the worse part the hostel is in the top of the hill. I don't recommend this hostel, only your last resource. Totally different pictures of rooms at the site.
