The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. We asked if we could take a baby high chair into our apartment and they allowed us to take one from the breakfast buffet restaurant. Tjhe apartment was cleaned, bathroom amenities and even washing detegrant provided on a daily basis. The service is excellent and worth of 5 stars. We defenitely recommend Boscolo residence for families with small kids willing to stay in the heart of Budapest.
all reviews » We had a large apartment that was immaculate. The staff was very friendly and helpful for all our needs. We didn't bother with the breakfast because there are plenty of local bakeries and Boscolo provides free coffee 24 hours. Location was great - access to all forms of local transportation - best bet is to buy 3 day pass at the airport as Budapest is pretty spread out. The staff was very friendly and helpful and have gone out of their way to help us out. We forgot our slippers and they had offered us some although they could have just said no. In general we've had a great stay at the hotel; nothing and no one bothered us. As well it is located at walking distance from the city center. everything was great.comfortable and nice looking suite. very clean and has all necessary equipment. we were very satisfied and the value for money is great. we will certainly return to this hotel on our next visit. The Boscolo Residence is very close to Blaha Lujza Square, which is a major public transport hub. Hotel is centrally located but the side street it is on is a bit drab. They are blocking, on credit card, from the beginning of the journey, the total amount of money plus some extra costs (for us, around 100eur more). At check out, they are trying to charge you again, even if they didn't cancel the first payment. Practically, you have blocked on your card twice the money you have to pay, for 1 month. Nothing, all was very good. The parking is 25 euro/day just in front of it 5 m a way 10euro /day. the price of parking just 5 meters in front of the hotel with half price. A little misunderstanding with a transfer from and to airport. Nothing. A little complain to room cleaning. The floor wasn't clean. cleannes. It's not the hotel next to New York Cafe. That is the Boscolo Luxury Hotel not the Boscolo Residence. Upgrade to room while larger appartment was booked, game of trying to sell breakfast to customers. street site room noisily , not good for us because we had a little kid. The prices in the minibar and the restaurant bar are extremely expensive! For example 25 € for a glass of regular Moet or 7 € for a 33 cl beer in the minibar in the room.. :-/. Cleanliness was questionable. Definitely agree with earlier complaints about mildew smells, which are quite strong. It's a bitsterile but very good.
