  I have no words to describe the absolute beauty of this place. It is a perfect balance of luxury, outdoors, and harmony. This is the type of place where you find yourself and your partner again, and you truly realize how nice life really is. We will definitely see you again soon !!! - superb villa, very clean, very quite eniviroment, fully equiped. Clean pool (the pool was cleaned and treated everyday from staff). The owners are extremely friendly and willing to help you with any need. We where so satisfied that we rebooked 15 days for next year, one year in advance! Best place ever visited, lost sense of time during our stay. Over all on the scale of 10 we rate it with 12.

  Not only the owners are very kind and hospitable, but the big rooms are clean. You have a wonderful view from the Apartment over the olivetrees to the beach. There are greek little tavernes around the area next to the beach bordering the libyan sea, which is quite hot. We would very much recommend Faros rooms. It was just perfect there. The rooms were fully equipped (much more than you would expect for such a low price stay) and very clean (towels were smelling freshness), the location was fantastic (from our balcony we could see only olive trees and the sea) and the owners were so friendly. Looking forward to our next stay at Faros houses.

  The room was very rustic in appearance but was outfitted with all the modern features. The kitchenette is quite complete, so stocking food for a snack and/or a more robust breakfast is a good idea. Grounds were beautiful. A great place for a quiet and restful few days or week. NOT for the night-life crowd! As Yannis said in greeting us, "Welco... what people say » me to the end of the world." There is nothing but nature, beach and a few tavernas at the beach. There are remains of a Minoan Palace, and they were - The welcome, which couldn't have been warmer, plus fresh oranges and lokwatts from their trees, cake made by Katerina's mum, and a constantly re-filled bottle of raki. Splendid local walks, lovely beaches, very friendly people. Yiannis' retreat is an absolute gem, perfect in every respect, from the immaculately-kept gardens to the spotlessly clean rooms, to the individual terraces with hammocks and deck chairs, the views of the sea.......I could go on!
