The location of the hotel was excellent! Next to it there is a bus station and a mini market. The staff was really helpful and especially the owner, Mr. Philippos was such a professional! He was so willing to help us and also so hospitable! He came to the port and he carried our luggages when we arrived at Spetses and he did the same thing when we were leaving! He was so kind! I was surprised with the cleanliness of the whole place. The bedroom and the bathroom were both very clean and nice dec. all reviews »
We stayed at the Villa Marina in September and had a great stay.
The owner met us at the port and kindly took our bag with him on his Vespa whilst we dawdled along the port to the rooms.
The hotel is in a great spot right in front of the town beach but still a street back so that it is relatively quiet. It is easy to stroll into town via the pedestrian mall which passes through plenty of shops and eateries.
The rooms are very clean and quite comfortable.

Proximity to a great beach and restaurants which is fabulous and the hotel is very cute. Lovely garden with table settings to chill out. Phillipos is the perfect host who really looks after his guests and he even drove us to the port with our heavy luggage. The rooms are charming and comfortable and a kitchen is available for use to make your own breakfast if you like, We loved our stay on Spetses and felt right at home at Villa Marina and recommend it highly for an affordable stay close to the.
Filippos is a wonderful host. He was in contact before we arrived to
meet us at the port and on arrival we were greeted warmly. He had
wonderful suggestions of places to go on the island and was extremely
helpful in allowing us to check out early and leave our bags at the
hotel until our ferry arrived. We received an upgraded room on arrival
for the same price. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This was my
second time in Spetses and if I return I will most definitely stay at
Villa Marina.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful no problems in any area. Beautifully clean with
bedding and towels changed daily such a joy. Drying area facilities great for daily beach visits. Single room facilities with WiFi. Luggage brought to you at the port at time of departure so you did n`t have to sit guarding it or lug it yourself to the harbour.
The owner was very friendly and helpfull. He came to pick me up at the harbour although we did not agree about that so sound him at the harbour waiting for me and my heavy luggage with my name was a wonderfull surprise! Central location, clean, very good deal quality-price. You will find what you can see from the pictures and I appreciate that.
The Owner of the Hotel greeted us at the Port at arrival and took our
bags bag to the Hotel for us after he gave us instructions how to go
there.He even waited for us on the corner of the street to make sure we
find his Hotel.At the Hotel we where allowed to choose our own room and
also received the best lemonade ever.
Villa Marina is very well situated in the city of Spetses very close to the port and all the shops, cafes etc.The owner Philippos, is a very friendly and accommodating person! He helped us out a lot and answered all our questions. I fully recommend this place to anyone that wants to visit Spetses.
The little garden outside the room was very pretty, perfect for me to relax smoking a cigarette (just keep an eye to our beloved mosquitos).
The rooms were very cozy and alway clean and everything is close by.

It's a simple hotel, but rooms are actually quite comfortable, with plenty of space for puttng things. Very clean. Nice decorations and a very pleasant patio/garden. The owner will help with everything you need.

Nothing! Everything was fantastic!.
There was a minor issue with our room due a spring mattress that had
seen better days. Hence sleep quality didn't quite match the rest of
the quality of the hotel. However it didn't deter much from the
great place that it is.
The wifi did not work very well on the 3rd floor.
If you want to sleep till late morning you might hear some noise but other then that, I recommend you to stay in this hotel!.
There was nothing that we did not like there at all.
If you want to get a good sleep on many nights you really need to close the window and put the aircon on, as the noise from scooters and quads can be too much.
The wifi kept cutting out.
The cleaner kept coming to clean our room when we had just popped out to the bakery first thing, even on the day we checked out. She was also a bit overzealous with throwing things away (e.g. spare plastic bag, empty tupperware)
The beds could have been more comfortable, but they weren't bad.
I slept with my windows open to hear the sound of waves at night from the close sea, but the town of Spetses is quite noisy in the streets - this is a fact in Summer, no fail for Villa Marina.
I think the island is a little overpriced and the small roads are a little dangerous without experience on riding a bike...
There were no towels in the room upon our arrival,a problem which was resolved immediately when I mentioned it to the owner.Other than that,everything was fine.
