This a worthwhile low-end option that tries to be good value for money. Nothing fancy here. Good location close to downtown but not dead center nor with beach view. Clean rooms. The top rooms have patios with a very nice wide view of the city and a bit of the sea. The guy that runs it was friendly and helpfull. It provides free wifi but it was on the slow side and there was no reception inside the rooms. The air conditioning, small fridge and toaster were adequate. They provide in-room breakfas.
all reviews » Excellent location: a mere five-minute walk from the main street of Skiathos but still very quiet and calm. Very near shops, restaurants, bus station, cinemas, bars. Breakfast food is given the night before and you can have breakfast at your leisure. The people who manage the hotel are very polite and attend to your needs. There are bikes at the disposal of the guests, which can be booked for a ride around the island. The rooms are impeccably cleaned daily. Our apartment was on the ground floor with a lovely patio and view on the well kept garden. Adonis and his mother are excellent host - you cannot ask for better! There is a supermarket around the corner and the apartments is within waliking distance from the centre of town. The apartmen was serviced every day which was actually unnecessary for a short stay. The people were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The price was amazing and it included free bedroom breakfast and also bicycles. Location is good, a short walk from town centre, closest beach, big supermarket and bus stop for access to other beaches. I would recommend it to anyone. Staff is excellent. Great view from top flor. The apartment was clean and are located in a quiet area. The in room breakfast idea. Butter and marmalade without any bread? One croissant for 2 ppl the first day and no replacement. In room was the only choise anyways since there are no other areas in the building except the apts. The kitchen can be better equipted - bigger cups or mugs, more knives, side plates, smaller pot and pan. etc. No aircondition in all rooms (two bedroom appartment) and one that is there is not working properly. Two bedroom appartment is in fact one bedroom appartment. Top floor to high, to much narrow stairs. Everithing is further then it is written. Wi-fi is not working unless you lean over balcony or go down stairs. No electrical socket in bedroom (very inconvenient). No closet in one room no place to put your clothing. Poor kitchen equipment, only one pan for cooking. The only bad note were some girls from Rome that shouted and walked in heels all nights long. Inelegant they would send you to hell and continued to do their head, when trying to say them that were disturbing. One might say, the ugly side of Italy on vacation.. The booking was made for rooms in Evgenia, but when we came they had booked one of the rooms at another apartment hotel, because they where fully booked. I don't know how the booking works on letsbookhotel.com, but it showed that apartment in the same complex was available and this is what we paid for. We where not satisfied at all with this. I would not recommend this to anyone else.
