I liked everything about this place. The owners were super friendly and accommodating, picking us up from the port, and taking us back at the end of our stay. They were friendly and informative about the island. The place has the most amazing views (ocean on two sides) from the balcony and the bedroom in particular. The cross breezes were delicious inside the apartment, meaning we did not have to run the air conditioning at all. We were able to produce some culinary treats of our own in the apa.
all reviews » Saki met us at the ferry, which we appreciated. He and Susi and Sofia were delightful throughout our stay, welcoming, informal, friendly, but not intrusive. A small problem with the wifi was fixed very promptly. The apartment was spotless, larger than we expected. The balcony of ours was smallish but adequate for two. The other balconies are larger. They face north, giving panoramic views from the elevated position, of Skala and both sides of the island. The location is off the main road, which. The location was excellent, located just outside Skala. It is a short walk up from the port and a somewhat longer walk (through beautiful forest) down from Chora via the Cave. We enjoyed being removed from it all and yet able to access all that we needed/wanted to on foot. The apartment we were in was small but worked well for the three of us (2 adults and a ten-year-old) for the 2 nights we were on the island. With the kitchen outfitted the way it was we were able to eat breakfasts and decent . The location was great - a 10 minute walk from the centre of Skala. It's an uphill walk, but this gave us delightful water/Skala views to both east and west. Location also handy if you want to walk up the hill to Chora or cave of St John. The most wonderful hosts - very welcoming, kind and informative on everything you'd need to know about Patmos - rentals, restaurants, timing, history etc. Room is a good size with a small kitchenette. Small terrace area gets good afternoon sun. We had a fantastic stay at Susi & Sofia's. For one, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful and picked us up from the port, as well as dropped us off, free of charge and with a smile at that. They made us feel very much at home. The room itself had a nice ocean view and the room was neat and very pretty. And all that for a good price too! We are so thankful for such a pleasant experience in Patmos. We'd definitely go back and will recommend it strongly to anyone. The room we stayed in had an amazing view of the bay and of the skala. It was extremely clean and well-appointed. The service that the owners provided was exceptional. They were friendly and informative, recommending some great tavernas and some must-see sites. We had been travelling for six weeks, staying in some great accommodation but this was easily the best apartment we had stayed in. Strongly recommend this accommodation. The location is superb. The hosts are very gracious. Skala is the central business area of Patmos and the apartments are located in the hills above Skala. Saki and Susi are the best hosts one could hope to meet. Saki met us by the ferry port when we arrived, took us to the grocery store the first night, drove us to the rental car place the following morning and generally acted as our inside link to the best of the island. We liked the cleanliness and apartment. Also the friendliness of our hosts. They picked us upand dropped us off. Very friendly and helpful owners, good price for good value. Nothing really. Nothing. I liked everything. Please note though that the apartments are compact and one has several steps to take, in order to get to the entrance. Nothing. Nothing related to the apartment.
