  The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and the pool areas, bar and restaurant are adjacent to the sea with great views of the area. It is well located to supermarkets and other restaurants and is either a short car or bus ride to the main centre of Chania. The staff could not have been more helpful and even advised of traditional local restaurants and checked to see - The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

  Arrived at 8:30pm and was greeted by the hotel owner, Mary, who offered us dinner. One could not ask for a more genuine and caring hotel owner. Hotel is set in an ideal location with both mountain and Souda Bay views.   The people there were really nice and friendly. Whatever you need, just ask! It was simple, but clean (especially the pool), away from mass tourism. We had a pretty big apartment on the first floor with two balconies, one on either side, which was really nice! The beach nearby is stony, but there is a sand beach not very far away. Would recommend having a rental car to get around to the best beaches etc. We stayed with our son, his wife and baby in the next apartment and it worked well. Lovely pool, and Maria's breakfasts were a daily delight. Staff all very helpful. Plenty of tavernas within walking distance or short drive into Kissamos. About 20 minutes drive to Chania.
