Perfect choice for short stay business trips to Patras , as it is right in the center and close to everything. Clean bathroom , working A/C , decent room amenities. Good value for money if you are lucky to get an offer (ex. No Refund). Great value for your money! the hotel is really nice, the rooms are big and with bath tube. The restaurant and pool at the roof are really pretty. It is so near to the port so it is ideal to catch a ferry or on your way back.
all reviews » Much the best hotel in Patras, looking out onto the now largely unused harbour, the Astir is a superb example of unaltered 1960s design - and it all works. Located near the train station and city center. Spacy rooms with stunning view. Very good restaurant with a small swimming pool at the roof. Great location, large comfy rooms, sea view, good value. The room really isn't four star quality. We wandered around after the host while he tried to find a room that was made up- unorganised. Also felt that the room was quite dirty, especially the bathroom. We would not describe this hotel as a four star hotel. Old hotel that definitely needs renovation. Breakfast of 15,- eur is extremely expensive. Hotel staff is not very friendly. Very tired decor Musty. Everything is very-very old in this hotel. Seems that never renovated. This is absolutely not 4-star hotel, not even close. On photos looks much better then in reality. becouse we stay four days ,and we are without air-condition....4 stars hotel...without ...air condition....tragic. Noisy, door broken.
