  I had read that Nicolas is an awesome guy, but this was something else. He picked us up from the port, he took us to rent a car, every single day he was making us coffee (along with his lovely wife), giving us fruit directly from his garden, cake and many more. When we had to give the car back, he brought us back to the hotel with his car and then drove us to Chora to see the Monastery. He als - The hotel is located in a beautiful and serene location near the town of Scala on Patmos. The mountains and sea are visible from the hotel. The owner, Nicolas, and his wife, are consumate hosts. We arrived by ferry during the middle of the night and Nicolas was there to meet us and take us to the hotel.
