With a superb location, right on the beach and only 300 metres from the port of Paros, the hotel offers great sea views from the front of the hotel. The hotel is situated right on the beach, just 10 metres from the golden sands and the crystal-clear water. Right in front of the hotel, you can even swim through the foundations of an ancient house. Alternatively, you could take a quiet and relaxing stroll through the area’s picturesque villages, admiring their quaint narrow streets and whitewashed houses. The area’s shops, supermarkets and restaurants are within easy walking distance and you can also visit the church of 100 doors and several museums. The hotel’s restaurant offers authentic Greek food and traditional hospitality and you can admire the beautiful sunsets from the terrace. Continental breakfast is served daily. Some of the rooms have balconies overlooking the sea and all of the rooms have TVs, air conditioning and refrigerators.

I would strongly recommend this hotel. It is in the best location on the island. Best view. Friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff. The owners were so welcoming, informing of places to visit around the island and making me a toastie one rainy night when local restaurant was full. I arrived early, asked to wait a short while and given a better room, it was worth the wait. I was given a balcony room overlooking the sea, great for sunset views. I chose this hotel because of the comments I had read, I was not disappointed.

Information about the area

Located on Livadia beach, just 400 metres from the port and town centre, Hotel Paros is perfectly situated for a memorable Greek island experience.

Built in a typically Cycladic style, Hotel Paros is located in the heart of Parikia, the commercial and cultural centre of Paros. It boasts stunning views of the port and nearby Krios and also has its own taverna.

A leisurely 5-10 minute walk from the hotel will bring you to the old part of town, the Cycladic alleys and some nice restaurants and churches. In the opposite direction, the sandy beaches of Livadia, where Hotel Paros is located, wrap around the bay of Krios.

The bus station is located next to the ferry quay. Buses go daily to Naoussa, and stop at a number of towns on the way including Golden Beach. There’s also a taxi stand in the middle of town, next to the windmill roundabout, at the port.

Paros is a great island from which to explore the surrounding islands, for a day trip or more. The hotel can arrange for you to visit Naxos, Mykonos, Santorini, Ios, Folegandros, Antiparos, Sifnos and other beautiful islands.

Travelling information

The closest international airports are Naxos, Mykonos and Santorini. Parikia is only a 35 minute flight from Athens.

A boat from Pireaus, Rafina or Lavrio to Paros takes 3 - 5 hours. The distance from the port to Hotel Paros is then a 5 minute walk. As you exit the ferry, turn left and walk approximately 400 metres along the waterfront. Once you reach the beginning of Livadia beach you’ll see the hotel.

A driver's license is required for guests who wish to rent a vehicle during their stay.
