  My husband and I were totally impressed with the Agamemnon Hotel. It must be one of the BEST hotels in Nafplio for sure. The hotel is situated on the waterfront promenade, so no traffic noise at all! The views over the harbour were stunning and we spent many times sitting on the balcony just sucking in the fabulous views of the harbour with the Bo... what people say » urtzi Castle on the island not far off sure. The room and bathroom were quite large for European standards. There are dozens of restaurants on the pro - Perfect location, nice staff and vivid town. We could enjoy the view to the small island from the balcony. Also the parking was not a problem even if the access to the hotel is limited due to the pedestrian zone starting in front of the hotel. There are many friendly and cosy bars on the seafront. In the evening the old center is great, many restaurants and shops and many turists. We could enjoy the Greek hospitality everywhere.   The location is quiet but still near tavernas and shops. The room was attractive, spacious and clean and the bathroom very nice. I asked for non smoking and did not smell any smoke in the room. The best part was the wonderful caring attitude of the couple who run the pension.   It is very nice hotel in the heart of Nafplio with very good design and furniture. My room was quite small but comfortable, clean and cozy! Everything are located in walking distance: bus stop - 3 min, port - 5 min, beach - 7 min, central street - 5 sec.   A place we would definitely come back to. The apartment was luxurious, cleaned perfectly every day. It had a beautiful view from the balcony overseeing the town, harbour and Palamidi fortifications. The staff was always available, very helpfull and kind. Location is quiet, but 5 minutes walk from a supermarket and nearest local taverna. Absolutely... what people say » loved it!! - This was a surprise find. Our son liked the pictures on the internet so we booked it but were not expecting too much. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The apartment with one bedroom and one sofa bed was very clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Would recommend it highly.
