Whilst I appreciate that a room upgrade is easier in off season our upgrade from a basic booking to a junior suite was above the call of duty. A fantastic sea view, gorgeous bed linen, a deep bath... the list goes on. The owners were incredibly attentive, the breakfast probably the best we have had in 6 months (for the price): fresh fruit, breads, pastries, cheese, meat and as much coffee / tea as you could drink. As cliched as it may sound... I don't normally right reviews but had to this ti.
all reviews » The real question is what was not to like! The Hotel could not have been more welcoming and helpful, they really made us feel special during our two night stay. The owner Giorgos was fabulous and so was Poppy. Hotel Akti has very high quality rooms and outstanding service. We would definitely recommend this Hotel and will be going back again. The old port is very intimate and restful, with wonderful cuisine. The Akti Hotel provided us the nicest breakfast we've had in Europe in years. The verandas are huge with comfortable furniture and dramatic views of the Gulf of Corinth and the Rio-Antirio Bridge. Really nice hotel for its design as well as its welcoming staff. Pretty and perfectly clean rooms, very kind people. In my opinion, it would have been hard to find a nicer place... I would definitely recommend it to everybody !. Great and helpful stuff.
