This was our 4th time staying at Vencia, and as always, they exceeded our expectations. Stella and the team are amazing! The staff at the hotel is warm, friendly, professional...and fun. It is a short walk from Mykonos Town (7-10 mins), but just far enough not to hear all the noise. The hotel has a beautiful infinity swimming pool with a pool bar where the bar tender, Dimitri, makes the best cocktails in Mykonos. The hotel restaurant, Karavari, has been voted as one of the best in Mykonos Town.
all reviews » The staff!! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. When we found out our ferry had been cancelled the front desk rang up the Ferry company to help us arrange an alternative ferry (at 10pm!). Breakfast buffet was superb with a multitude of hot and cold options including bacon, eggs and sausages. The views from the patio and pool areas was spectacular. Rooms were clean and well appointed and quiet. Stella gave us a complimentary upgrade as it was our honeymoon - sea view was very nice!!!. The views were amazing and the walk into Mykonos was so easy considering the hotel seemed to be high above the town. The infinity pool, seating area around the pool - beds to cocoon seats were fab and the bar and bar tender (who is famous for his Mojitos) tipped it from great to amazing! The double beds in the rooms were like California Kings. definately the hotel to stay at in Mykonos - going back next year!. The staff are wonderful and enthusiastic, anything they could do for you they would. They had upgraded our room for the first night there, which was lovely Pool and restaurant view is spectacular!! The food is great, we received a complementary starter and dessert when we ate in the restaurant. This hotel has a lovely, relaxing vibe to it and a clean, modern finish- we will definitely be back!. This hotel is one of the reasons I have such unforgettable memories from Mykonos. Go for it, I can't think of any place better then this one. The staff were so friendly and accommodating; the pool area and pool bar - amazing; the view of the sunset from the pool deck - incredible; the food - delicious. The room was clean, trendy, and had a patio with a great view of Mykonos Town and the hotel was in walking distance from town (about 10 minutes tops). We stayed in the budget double room, which was perfectly fine (no views, but a large comfortable room). The hotel itself is beautifully furnished inside and out. The restaurant & pool areas are lovely, with great views over the old town and ocean. Food was very good (for both breakfast & dinner) and the staff are excellent. I'd give full marks on everything. Starting from the proactive receptionist and driver to everything is just great. The hotel even upgraded us to a better room because we were honeymooning. Which I was about to request upon payment. Full marks in every aspect. Beautiful view and it was just perfect. the quality of service , the helpfulness of the staff, the location, the quality of the establishment - all was perfect and done up to a very high level; the professionalism and frendliness of all staff: owners, waiters, drivers and cleaner was quite exceptional. Our suite was beautiful with an amazing view of the sea. It was very conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The pool area is incredible. The staff was great, very attentive, the treatment was personal (we were on our honey moon and were treated as such), the view is absolutely amazing and the space by the pool is perfect!. The hotel was very eager to take are of all of their guests whether they stayed in the lower price rooms or higher priced ones. Anything if lacking was taking care of immediately. Good breakfast! Clean room and nice staff. The view from room balcony is stunning. Close to the old town, 5 minutes walk is not an issue. The pool is fantastic. Nothing really - the only thing was we were there at the very start of the season so the hotel restaurant wasnt open yet and room service wasnt up and running. However Stella recommended M-eating, just a short walk away which was superb - two of the best meals we have eaten in a long time and staff there were amazing too - we felt like family : ) . The breakfast was good but not enough fresh fruit! that all if I was going to say one negative thing x. Leaving... Absolutelly nothing. There was nothing I did not like about this hotel. The bathroom was small (and not up to four star standard in our opinion) - but we did book the budget room, so I'd expect the standard & superior room bathrooms would be better. nothing. the food and drinks served in the restuarant were quite expensive even by Mykonos' standards. Nothing. No flaws at all. This comment is solely for the purpose of improvement. I had a drink the first day at the pool bar. It was very weak. My husband had a drink a few days following, that were not up to par. One evening I observed a couple that came to the hotel restaurant from another hotel, just for drinks, and they drank them as if it was juice. They also were delivered upstairs by the bartender at the pool. The pool bar has the opportunity to bring in more business, but hardly anyone was drinking. The pick up car is small, if many guests arrive at the same time, the driver need to transport you in turn. As usual with Mykonos it was pricey but that's the local market. Nothing to say about the hotel. Just DNOT go to MYKONOS in October. It is windy and rainy and we coundn't enjoy beaches or the hotel pool!. Very basic. Minibar was empty, no bathrobes, etc. Steep hill to come back to hotel from town. I wish we had been told before that a driver would be collecting us from the airport, we did not know and so got a taxi. The most expensive suite had a electrical wire running in the front of the terrace blocking stunning views of sunset. Poolside can get very busy. Not enough sun loungers for number of guests. Small tv. nothing. Nothing. for this price is not worth, the round to town is narrow and some part should share with car. the room is not well as we expect.
