good location, good price, good staff. there's a market very close by (fresh food!), a fridge in the room (on the 6th floor you get a balcony too), and the acropolis is within easy walking distance. the owners are very friendly and helpful too. very clean, but simple (it's a 2 star hotel - don't expect great luxuries). decent breakfast. close
... what people say » to the central metro station (so good if you have an early flight out). - This hotel is very clean, although it is on the fringe of a seedy area. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even giving us a box breakfast when our plane was leaving before breakfast. However, we did not like going out after dark except to the restaurant just across the street. Great location for sightseeing, 1/2 mile to the metro and Plaka. We would stay there again while in Athens.

... what people say » fferent than the previous one! - Everything really from the helpful and well informed receptionists, to the clean, modern, well equipped rooms with comfortable beds and great bathroom. The rooms were so quiet, perfect for a good nights rest and the sumptuous breakfast was a great start to the day. Very comfortable, pleasant, and memorable stay would highly recommend this hidden gem in the city of Athens. - We had a room with a balcony to the street but there was a double-door so the noise really stayed outside. As it was quite hot we enjoyed the air-coditioner. Bathroom, bed, sofa, everything was perfect. The breakfast next morning was a next highlight. To the Plaka it´s only a 5 minute walk, up to the acropolis about 15-20 min. We can only recommend this hotel to everyone!

The staff and calamari and the pool. Staff were very concerned and helped rectified an incorrect booking when they found it was incorrect on arrival. -
The breakfasts were very nice. The Kona Kai Polynesian restaurant was also a nice option.
Room was comfortable.
