What people say

Location by mini-market, bakery and tavernas ideal. Pool was lush, well maintained. Grounds developing nicely - enjoyed the homegrown fruit. Very friendly staff and clean. Great pool. The apartments in the new building are ok, don't accept the old rooms. Breakfast same every day. Standard of food not as high as tavernas. It can be difficult to walk down to Tavernas as roads/paths to mains path are quite rubbley.

Information about the area

Originally a fishing village, Katelios is a peaceful resort on the southeast coast of Kefalonia, neighbouring the busy resorts of Skala and Lourdas.

The tavernas and shops are located near to the beach and harbor. By walking over the rocks at the end of Katelios beach, visitors can reach Mounda, Kefalonia’s largest turtle nesting beach. Accommodation is set back in the valley behind the beach, amongst olive and citrus groves.

Katelios nightlife centers on restaurants and the local tavernas, some of which provide live entertainment, barbeques and Greek dancing.
