The room was spacious,clean,comfy,with a big veranda and a practical kitchenette and only 2 mins walk from the blue-flag beach.The owner was more than helpful and always smiley. And the fact that there was a New Testament in for languages in the rooms was a pleasant surprise which also upgrades the service-quality and character of Diamond Palace - congrats!. Ease of access and very welcoming host. The room was very big, bright and airy. A small but adequate kitchen and bathroom. Very large verandah with sea views, and only a 2 minute walk to the lovely sandy beach, and also to the excellent tavern close by.
all reviews » Mavrovouni, by the beach, is a perfect location. The décor in each room is different and very nicely done. Although we were in a simple studio the terrace was enormous and open on 3 sides - just fabulous. Everything was excellent. We were even upgraded to a larger room with no extra cost, something which was really appreciated even though we stayed only for one night. - next to the beach - rooms with sea view and kitchenette - clean place close to many ancient sites - nice staff. Location by clean sandy beach. Friendly staff. Tasty Greek breakfast. Rooms have balcony. Big rooms. Close to the beach. It has a little playground for children. Clean, nice balcony and a great beach at 50 m. Friendly staff, clean room,right on the beach. Clean, spatious. Close to the sea but not direct by the cosat, so the sea view is fragmental. Friendly staff and spacious fully equiped appartment are advantage. Superb internet connection. Idealy for people with kids who would like to be far away from any city noise and city life stile. At the same time any supply reqiure car till the village. Quite good location along the beach. Personnel was very helpful. Nothing. Maybe some lighting on the stairs during the night would be helpful. The first floor apartments might have a slightly limited view of the sea. You will be able to see it, but Diamond Palace is set back about 30m from the beach. We moved upstairs and had a fabulous all round view. - you should think of preparing coffee in your room, cause breakfast was a little unorganised. Difficult to find, no hotel's sign on the man road. Poor Breakfast. The only thing worth mentioning was that when other guests smoked at their balkonies it disturbed us, non-smoking. One could maybe divide in different parts for smokers and non-smokers. Disadvantages are not connect with accomodation but with surrounding. Dusty road to the hotel and parking, and the same rural road by the beach makses you nervous when any car pass close. Not recomended for young people who need live surrounding with any challenge. View from the hotel is to the backyards of buildings which are closer to the sea.
