We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (who says that you can only book those when you're on honeymoon ;), so the steps were not an issue (the lift goes almost all the way down to the suite). Other reasons to book this suite: Large terrace overlooking the caldera (probably one of the best terracces in Fira!), great big bed in its own little "cave" - and there is a whirlpool in the bathroom. We really had a great time. fira (karterados) is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday especially in june. Thea Studios is well located, close to the center, restaurants, bars, etc. You can easily rent a quad and exploring the island with pleasure. Villa Koronios is a wonderful place.
The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the amassing views of the Santorini caldera from Fira but in a quiet and relaxing place with a beautiful view of the sea toward the East. In my opinion, it cannot go better. The location is 5 min to the central bus station in Fira where all buses can take in any place on the island and 5 min to the grocery store.

The room was huge for European standards, with full dining table and kitchen. There is a private courtyard in which the owner lights votive candles at night so you can enjoy the evening. Note that it is not a view property and you do have to walk up hill 8-10 minutes to town. Excellent value. I recommend it.

Very friendly stuff, vey close to the city and the bus station. - The Lignos is a very modern and contemporary hotel and I was veryimpressed with the standard of hotel and the price. It is 5 mins walkto the ferry port and you can catch a bus across from the port whichtakes you to the marina which is nice for a wander, something to eatand a drink.

A fantastic hotel runs by a fantastic family. We were there for 4 nights with 3 teenagers. The children slept in an apartment-loft while my husband and I were in the windmill: very romantic and lovely. The pool area is wonderful, with nice sunbeds. A little walk to Fira centrum (15 mn) uphills... sweaty in the middle of the day but nice at night.

The room was rather large and very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast is good and has a good number of choices. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from downtown Fira. The road is not heavily travelled by motorists but is a bit dark so preferable to bring a flashligh
