I had the most wonderful time at Galini Hotel. The owner, Fani is an excellent hostess and she prepares the most honest breakfast in the region! Homemade Jam, local pastry, honey and cheese. Outdoor dining space is very cosy and sweet. Despite my unfortunate circumstance (lost luggage by the airline and multiple injury to myself), Fani was very helpful and attentive to me. I am very grateful for staying at a place where the hostess is genuinely kind to her customers. The room was very clean alt.
all reviews » It is easy to like the hotel because of its location (right in the centre, one minute away from the beach, away from any noise at night), the people working at the hotel, (specially the woman Fanny), were always very helpful for any kind of information I asked, they gave me all kind of tips. All rooms have a balcony with a view, there is even a kettle and friedge in each room (wasnt expecting that, but it is very nice to have one) and the rooms are very clean and beds very confortable. Huge bre. Staying at the Galini hotel was a pure pleasure! The hotel and surrounding area are very quiet and tranquil. Eating breakfast in the garden every morning was a great way to start the day and Fani's homemade marmalades and olives were amazingly delicious! The room was gorgeous and spacious with all the comforts you could hope to have - a/c, a balcony, refrigerator, tv...and it is about a 1 minute walk to the beach! All of the staff were very nice and pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay here and w. Delightful and friendly..... The well-managed Galini Hotel offers true value for money. The Hotel offers spotless, air-conditioned rooms in a quiet location but only a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Skala Eressos. Breakfast is taken on a tranquil, pretty, little terrace and offers locally sourced and homemade goodies..... We had a lovely holiday. Fani was really friendly and happy to give all Customers any help they needed, She was very knowledgeable about the area, We will be returning as it was one of the best holidays we have experienced. Close to the villega center and markets, but Eressos is a small village anyways. Breakfast was ok. Honestly, not even one disadvantage to this hotel. Nothing. Bathrooms were clean shower cubicle could do with some slight attention. The room's furniture was a bit old. The sound proofing was awful (mostly due to the poor quality of the room door). You could hear almost everything from inside your room weather the noise was coming from the hall, the reception 5 meters down the hall or the room across. It was also a bit expensive. bathrooms shape was so silly and curtain of the shower was uncomfortable. Hotel building is an old one. It needs renevation, especially the bathroom. small bathroom. Very small room, there wasn't any place to put the luggage. Very small bathroom. You can find much better apartments (not hotels though) for the same price range with more space, balkony and even garden.
