We reserved a room for 4 because it was bigger although we were only 2. This was a very good thing because it was 2 separate rooms, one with a TV and 2 daybeds, and one bedroom. My husband was sick with fever and virus and couldn't sleep well at night so could be in room with TV and not keep me awake. Also, staff was helpful and friendly. Location was very good. And there was a very good, friendly and inexpensvie place to eat next door, Colombo Snack Bar Cafe is the name in English. We wi. all reviews »
The staff was so friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned for our needs and comfort. We adored the location, so close to the harbour and the main square, in the heart of old town on its own little pedestrian ally filled with local bistros. Dont miss Colombo Bisto on the right as you leave the hotel in the ally. Nikos there is alovely, friendly host who made our stay unforgettable with his stories, company and fabulous quality home cooking.
We stayed at Neli Studios at the end of March 2013 and as on previous
trips we were not disappointed. It is very centrally situated, rooms are
clean and comfortable, staff extremely friendly and helpful - and a good
price too!!!

Great location for everything.
It was so nice to have all the kitchen facilities instead of always eating out. We liked it so much we came back after four nights away to spend our last night in chania here.
Great location next to the cathedral and only a minute from the harbour. It was useful having a kitchenette and nice to have a balcony to sit out on over one of the pretty old streets.

If you want to sleep in and have trouble getting back to sleep in the morning the 7 am church bells next door might bother you. They served as a wake up call for my boyfriend and I just rolled over and went back to sleep ;-).
As in many similar places in Greece the kitchen is more equipped for making snacks than full meals.
Curch is too close and it makes to much noice when the bells are on.
