good location, good price, good staff. there's a market very close by (fresh food!), a fridge in the room (on the 6th floor you get a balcony too), and the acropolis is within easy walking distance. the owners are very friendly and helpful too. very clean, but simple (it's a 2 star hotel - don't expect great luxuries). decent breakfast. close
... what people say » to the central metro station (so good if you have an early flight out). - This hotel is very clean, although it is on the fringe of a seedy area. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even giving us a box breakfast when our plane was leaving before breakfast. However, we did not like going out after dark except to the restaurant just across the street. Great location for sightseeing, 1/2 mile to the metro and Plaka. We would stay there again while in Athens.

the staff was nice, helpful, and spoke very good english. there was no one else staying in my 4 person room. there were complimentary soap and shampoo in the bathroom. there was a/c. close to the metro and the square.

We found the hotel, a small four-storey hotel, to be well maintained, clean and neat. The management treated us with respect and were very helpful in guiding us to various locations.
A complimentary breakfast was included and that was adequate with cereal, pastries, cheese and cold meat with accompanying beverages.

The staff were extremely helpful! We required a crib for our baby &
we arrived fairly late in the evening, but they made sure to have the
baby's cot ready in just 30 minutes. They were very helpful in
calling for a cab when we required one as well as helping find
restaurants near by. The breakfast was wonderful & the woman who
serves it was very nice. The view of the Acropolis from the dining deck
was absolutely amazing & really made the hotel worth every penny!

This hotel defies current Greek star ratings. Relative to other hotels outside of intercity Athens, this hotel is easily five stars. Rooms are immaculate and comfortable, the family-run establishment is in a wonderful residential neighborhood, easily within walking distance of great food. The value for money is incredible, I could not recommended
