What an incredibly beautiful hotel and oasis at the airport. After visiting the islands and enjoying the warm reception there, it was a great pleasure to receive the same welcome in a large, modern hotel. We loved the fluffy bathrobes and appreciated the French soaps. The architect was clearly very sensitive; the use of space, the warm hues of the wood...lovely. My son appreciated the gym.
all reviews » It is so conveniently located to the Athens Airport and made it very easy to get up and get to our flight with very little hastle. We loved to soft beds and spacious shower and bath area.It's proximity to the airport was a definite plus. It is the closest hotel in the Athens, Greece area to the airport, being only 100 or so meters from the airport. Helpful Reception, comfort and ammenities, accessibility to airport, restaurant choices and service, beautiful lounge and restaurant on 9th floor.The bathroom was fantastic, the bed was comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, and the dining and entertainment options excellent. Room was stylish and very well equipped. Restaurant food superb. That was the only problem though. We didn't have the expensive breakfast as we were out of the hotel by 5am. Can't think of a thing.Absolutely not! However, we did not have enough time to really enjoy the hotel facilities - arrived late at night and had to be in terminal at 5:30 the next morning. Glad we were close!. Well I would never stay there for any other reason because it is in the airport and nowhere near anything of interest.Restaurants were expensive. It is not cheap. despite the general peace and quiet, the occasional noise of plumbing. The price was a bit high, but I guess that is what you pay for theconvenience.The price was pretty steep, but then they have no competition at the airport. stayed one night as location is directly across from the airport. needed to catch early flight following morning and needed to avoid delays that come with using public transportation. this hotel is ideal for this situation but not for those looking to sightsee as long metro/train ride to see the Athens historical sites (45 mins to Acropolis metro station). I thought the price was very high. Also, the hotel policy is that they cannot accommodate a 3rd person (older than 10 years old) in any of their rooms. So we had to book a second room, which then doubled the price. Due to our very early morning flight, we were occupying the rooms for only about 6 hours in total. Expensive. Too expensive. Based on the price of the rooms the breakfast should be included and not extra. Breakfast is extremely overpriced (22 euro's/per person). The bed was two twins pushed together, making...certain activities a little more difficult than need be. Other than that, it was a great room (which is to be expected for the price paid).
