Excellent service!. central for metro, reasonably quiet room for centre of city.I liked this hotel for being clean, good staff, location for me was good, I knew the area from before so the people that you would see there did not surprise me and I did not feel threaten in any way walking to and from hotel in any time of the day, I asked for quiet room and yes I was looking at the wall but I was not there for the view, when I wanted to see something I ventured in the city.

The location in the city seems to be quite unsafe!. the hotel is not at the level of the the Best Western network. location (might be close to Plaka as they announce on the site, but who has the courage to walk to/from there, especially late night? insecure and bad area of the town), room (not even a carpet on the floor...), view on the neighbours' balcony, elevator broken in the evening, nobody cared to fix it so the entire hotel was using only one elevator to carry up and down luggage....

Take the Athens Airport Bus E95 to Syntagma Square/Terminal, then take the trolley no. 1 or 12 to the Agiou Konstantinou station (3rd station) then walk 100 metres to Hotel Zinon.
Departures every 20/30 minutes. Duration of the journey: 60 minutes. Bus operates for 24 hours, on a daily basis every 1/2 hour.

Metro:
Only line 3 goes to the Omonia Station (change the metro at the Syntagma station - line 2 - for 2 stations - in the directions of Aghios Antonios) and then walk 300 metres to Hotel Zinon.
Departures every 1/2 hour. Metro rail operates on a daily basis from 06:30 to 23:00.

Advice about the ticket system for the bus and metro:
* Tickets must be bought before getting on.
* Metro: buy them in the ticket office at the station
* Bus: tickets are available in most newspapers-shops, in the white little shacks and from street vendors.

NOTE: that the ticket must be stamped in the machines as you get on the bus and just before you enter the platform area in the metro. Fares are the same for childeren age 6 and up. Childeren of 5 years or less travel for free.

By car from the airport to our hotel:
Take the Attiki Odos (highway), in the direction of Messogheion Avenue, then take the Vassilisis Sofias Avenue, towards the Syntagma Square. Next to the Parliament turn right unto Panepistimiou Street and drive straight ahead to the Omonia Square. After driving unto Agiou Konstantinou Street (2nd exit from the square), turn left at the 2nd traffic lights, then take the 1st street to the right. After 150 metres you will find the Hotel Zinon on the lefthandside.
