Astarte suites has only nine rooms which gives you a feeling that youare at home. The personal touch of of the people running the hotel isperfect. As the hotel is somewhat to the south of the caldera you havethe excellent view but are not part of the tourist scene which dominatesthe northern cities. We welcomed the privacy at astarte and you can bein the other cities within 20 minutes or so.

Despite a secluded situation, the hotel is close to the beaches including one with black sand, but the hotel provides an infinity pool that seems to flow into the sea. However the main attraction is the outlook; one guest commented, “the view from the hotel was incredible, maybe the best I’ve ever seen in my life”.
