  We really had a great time. fira (karterados) is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday especially in june. Thea Studios is well located, close to the center, restaurants, bars, etc. You can easily rent a quad and exploring the island with pleasure.   Perfect location, it takes you about 10 minutes to walk to Fira and even less to Oia. We stayed there with my boyfriend for a couple of days and literally walked through the entire island. The hotel is nice and cozy,and has only 4 rooms. We were very surprised by the size of the room, but it did not disturbed us at all, as it is a kind of unusual ... what people say » trait and fun, plus everything is small on Santorini) Also you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, sitting on a cozy veranda of the hotel. Staff was very fri - Very good location, 10 min walk from buzzing Fira but much more quiet. Excellent view of the caldera from the shared balcony. Kosmas, the owner, is kind and very helpful. Very good value for money, considering how much others charge for the view, if you are willing to share it. Tip: If you are budget conscious get a room without a view. The ones with the view just have a window anyway and the balcony is what makes it worth it.

  The hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a great location overlooking the caldera. All the views are just stunning, and although you don't get the famous "sunset" of Oia, we loved the changing colors of the sky against the volcano (a more unique view than a sunset, in my opinion). The rooms are tastefully decorated, and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is tasty, an - Akrolithos is amazing. It has a nice swimming pool with stunning view to the caldera. Our room -and I think all rooms- had the same view. It is not luxurious, but was refurbished this year and very clean. The breakfast is served by the pool, normally until 11 o'clock, but they were happy to serve it even at 13.00, when we were waking up!   The caldera views were the best on the island, we sat around the pool to watch the sun set. The hotel was lovely,modern and clean. Breakfast was well done (coffee, tea, yogurt, cereal, toasts, meats, cheeses). As a family with children ages 2 and 4 years old, we loved the pool.
