My husband and I liked everything about this hotel. Breakfast was really good, very well assorted buffet. Room was espacious, clean and with balcony. Good size swimming pool and also very, very clean. Hotel location is superb: within meters of the beautiful beach and the bus stop. Almost adjacent to the hotel is Niko's restaurant where you can get delicious food at a low price. We love Naxos and Katerina Hotel made our staying in this island perfect. all reviews » We loved our stay at this hotel. Having been to Greece on many occasions over the past 12 years this hotel is by far the the best we have stayed at. The family is warm, friendly and generous. Always a smile and nothing is too much trouble with good local knowledge and advice. The hotel is very clean. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels. The shower is powerful and always with hot water. The pool also is nice and very clean. A good selection for all tastes. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help you - no request too much effort. The room was cleaned and tidied daily. The hotel was so close to the beach and restaurants - so convenient. It's a very small and quiet area, perfect for us with our 18 month old daughter - you could wander back and forth between the beach and hotel in a few minutes. Very friendly "resort", everyone seemed laid back and chilled out - no crazy partying (that we heard/saw) or groups of teenagers on tour -. - Great location 100 meters from the beach. - Great facilities with everything you need for a relaxing beach/sun trip. - Good breakfast with great variety of things. Our 5 days vacation at Katerina Hotel was very good. The Hotel was located nearby everything important(supermarkets, sea, car rental places..) and it was not too long distance to Chora. The staff were so friendly and the place was very clean and well maintained. The flowers were beautiful. Nice beach and lovely restaurants closeby. Every single thing. Being a small establishment (a good thing) and having a small pool with 16 sunbeds, allowing their German guests to do their usual bagging of sunbeds with towels and leaving them all day including when going to the beach needs some management. Bus never showed up for the port so we had to get a last minute taxi but there was one there so no problem. Nothing. Unfortunatly we had to go back to the pool side room for our 3rd day as the nice room was booked. It was little bit funny that there wasn't real duvet and duvet cover in the hotel room, just a fleece blanket and a bedsheet. But, When in Rome do as the romans do! :). Remember to turn right when going to a restaurant. We turned left and as sunset Lodge was closed ate a closeby tavern. Food was awful and expensive. nothing. Beach is crowded. Beaches further down on the coast are great, but you need a car (make reservations beforehand as the whole island gets sold out easily). nothing. Bathroom is small and outdated.
