I have visited Chania many times, either for vacation or business travel, but it was the first time that I stayed in Theo. It's location is excellent with a wonderfull view and the hotel is modern, clean, and fresh. The room was spacious enough for me and my wife, clean, with a nice seaview. The staff was friendly, especially the owners of the hotel who make you feel like they already know you! Very much value for money and we will certainly use the hotel again in the near future. all reviews » We stayed at Theo hotel for a week, the room was clean, not too big, but anyway we didn't spend too much time in there. Breakfast was good, a lot of things to choose from, however almost every day the same. The staff were really friendly, we had dinner twice in the hotel's restaurant, and looked that everyone after their meal received a special Greek spirit, which was a really nice gesture. The Hotel is on a hill, so the view from the restaurant is very nice. The staff was great. Very polite and willing to provide any assistance or information needed. The restaurant doesn't offer too many options for dinner. The front desk staff had little knowledge of bus timetables. The breakfast dining area became very congested due to poor lay out of the various items of juice, tea,coffee dispensers, toaster,being too close to each other. TV was tiny and no channels, WiFi only in the pool area. Poor gym, average breakfast. Internet only available within few metres of the pool bar. Room size small but OK balcony. No bath and almost impossible to bend down in the shower. Indoor pool was cold and featureless - no changing area or seating. Outdoor pool was minimum 1.5m although a smaller child's pool available. Note: The guests were predominantly Scandinavian - friendly enough but there seemed to be a few large groups/families which prevented any real interaction.
